My mom thinks it is okay but pricy and my dad thinks it is a cool system and the game I am going to buy for it (Hyrule Warriors) but again expensive any help on how to make it look cheaper or more affordable? I told them about how the Xbox one is 500$ and it is 300$ WITH games and accessories plus deluxe version.
i usually just blackmail people to get what i want, if i dont have any dirt on them, ill use physical force.

You can tell them that the Deluxe set comes with 2 games that would have cost $420, if you bought the console and the games separately, or you can buy a refurbished one for $199.99 on Nintendo's website. https://store.nintendo.com/ng3/browse/productDetailColorSizeP...
If your family celebrates Christmas, then that might be your best bet. You could do what I would have done at your age and make a deal with your parents. Something like, I'll get this GPA by the end of the semester or I'll do so many chores for a month or two and you get me the console. I don't know how many times I convinced by grandparents with this one.
I plan to ask them on Christmas and hopefully there will be a bargain sale for the holiday. I told my dad about the slightly used 200$ version and..... well I don't know, he didn't seem to care much either way but he normally gets interested the most about the Wii U when I play it at Gamestop or any store so I think I will remind him then.
Sorry I forgot to post this on my last post. I am at the top of my class I always literally always get 100s or 95s on spelling and anywhere in 90s in math 90s or high 80 in English and 100 every time in History I even read history books w/ out being told to on my downtime almost every day. they also call me "CD-Rom" as a nickname due to my intelligence. I always help in chicken xhores and other chores and rarely complain. I use to be disrespectful to my mom but I'm mostly past that and I get along with my siblings very well no exagerations. I'm pretty sure I am good enough in grades and chores it's just the price... even the 200$ slightly used one on Nintendo.

I need advice that helps the Wii U sound affordable
If affordability is the problem perhaps strike a deal with your parents like you will pay half and they pay the other half. Start saving up money that you get from like allowances, birthdays, odd jobs, trade in a few games etc. That way your parents dont have to shell out all of the money and thus it will look more affordable to them when they dont have to foot the entire bill. Heck you can even get a refurbished Wii U from Nintendo for like $200 and from what I have heard from people they are really really good you can't even tell they were refurbished. If you go that route that is just $100 for each of you.
