I just checked this weeks poll on IGN and look at the results

If you could have only game system in your library, what would it be?

Weird huh, i guess this means a lot of wii owners are multi-console owners lol

The Wii would be right at the bottom for me as well. I love the Wii and all, but I couldn't stand missing out on so many other titles.

Wow, I can't decide between any of those if I had to pick just one. Out of the four, I only own a Wii. No, I don't even own a PC.

lol wario the voters are still human beings with opinions and wii fans too (who apparently are either not many in number or not loyal to the console)

edit just as a side note, can anyone inform me on why so many people dislike ign.com, im not a member there, but i have no qualms using their site and checking info and reviews there, i dont see what the big deal is?

We hate IGN because the reviewers are morons, they stuff up games with hype (a good example would be The Conduit), and most of the members AND moderators are XBOX 360/PS3 fanboys.

@DaDun: apparently everyone hates IGN for their bias towards Nintendo in general. Most of them are "hardcore" gamers who overhype games like MadWorld and The Conduit for being hardcore titles for Wii. These are only my observations and may not be right at all.

Most of the people who voted in the poll are possibly hardcore gamers instead of the Wii audience, which includes everyone who don't visit IGN very often.

The IGN staff are just a bunch of anti-Wii fanboys. They give good WiiWare games medicore scores, and they are negative on some good retail Wii games.

Mediocre? More like complete shovelware quality scores like 5.4s and 5.9s to great Wiiware titlle that are no less than a 6.5 or even 7.0 for that matter.

IGN rarely gives good Wii games good scores. They gave Metroid Prime Trilogy a 9.5/10 which is great to hear but thats a first in while. IGN are bias and stupid IMO.

Assuming they had 1,000 voters, that'd be 60 people.
10,000=600, 100,000=6,000, 1,000,000=60,000, etc.

hardly. Anyway, it's true, IGN sucks because it is populated mostly by people who think they're too cool for "kiddy" games and, as a general rule, Nintendo is considered synonymous with "kiddy" games. As such, Nintendo's rankings are much lower than other consoles, even if it's a review of the SAME GAME, the Nintendo version will almost always inevitably have a lower score. Yet another reason I hate Xbox.

I would have to go with my PS3 too. Sorry guys. Love my DSi and all but PS3 takes it cause it get the most play time.

I have to say that despite the overall crappiness of their reviews they do give a good amount of coverage to the Wii. I wouldn't even bother with their forums though. Compared to Eurogamer which not only gives crappy reviews to Wii games, but barely gives the system any news coverage, IGN is a Wii champion!
