I listen to just about everything but if I had to pick a favorite it would be hard rock. (not heavy metal). Some of my favorites include Alice in Chains, Marilyn Manson, Nickelback, Stabbing Westward, and Insane Clown Posse but I've also been known to listen to Barry Manilow, The Wailin' Jennies, Maroon 5, Roxette, etc.

Video Game Soundtracks are some of the best music there is, imo. Classical Music can be relaxing and nice. Country is a good genre (why the dislike?). Movie Soundtracks are good, too. Other genres, except Rap, I find great, also.
I'm actually really digging her new song 'Alejandro'....But i hate her pop crap like 'Telephone', 'Paparazzi', 'Just dance' and the never ending 'Poker Face' especially which just cant seem to get off the bloody radio. She's performed that song live how many god damn times now?
Yet 'Love game' is actually pretty decent and so is 'Bad Romance' Lady ga ga is basically a fusion of Brittney Spears and Marylin Manson.
Lots of awesome indie rock and underground stuff. Why the hate for rap? I enjoy rap. Not all the cal (Yes I use Clockwork Orange slang) by the "popular" artists like Kanye, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and people that write music purely for money and they have horrible lyrics with no rhymes or flow. I really love Eminem. Just because he has amazing flow and great lines. Also, his songs actually have beats and a message in them. The Beatles are...just..amazing no matter what. Pretty much any music that has a message or was written for a reason. Now this will be kind of contradictory, but I love dance music from the 70's and 80's. The kind of music that just makes you want to put your hands in the air and get groovy.

I just don't get the appeal of metal. People shouting and playing their instruments as fast as possible. I guess it's impressive but it doesn't make for a very enjoyable listen for me.
