You can't prove the bible then...because you weren't there for the events that supposedly transpired. I think you kind of shot yourself.

Since Kizzi is being kind of aggressive, I'll bring up the four different versions of Jesus' death. There's one in each gospel I believe. Why is that?

I'm not trying to be agressive, and I apologize to everyone I may have insulted. I am just really zealous about this topic. To answer your question Supermarketzombies, all four of the Gospel books describe the same event. They were just written by 4 different people from different perspectives. And I said that to Nanaki to make a point. I know I wasn't there either, but as I stated earlier, I have the Bible as evidence for my belief that the earth is only thousands of years old. But there is no historical evidence that I am aware of that backs up the belief that the earth is billions of years old. This is what I am trying to get across.

Carbon dating of certain parts of the world have showed it. If you don't buy into carbon dating thats fine, I don't buy into the bible, but evidence is evidence whether or not its legitimate or not.

How do our parents determine what is wrong?", I believe it came about naturally back in the dawn of time when people began to band into groups and live with one another, in order to curb retaliation or the need for recompense between individuals and for the group to stay strong as a unit against predators and other groups or tribes; again, I feel it was a gradual evolution of society in response to the need for living together in some semblance of harmony for protection against outside invasion that 'right' and 'wrong' as concepts were named, accepted as social morals or laws, and handed down from generation to generation. I do not believe that our human consciences are due to direct influence from any kind of god or higher being.

Alright, I believe is time for this thread to stop, consider myself neutral, this creation of the world discussion can't be proved by any side, and the debate has finally became believings against believings, this is a nice videogame site, and I want it to stay that way, if anybody wants to keep going why don't search for a nice religious site to do it, before things get out of control in here.

@Nathan......I am a Christian and thanks for the reply. I do believe in healing and understand it. My mom through God and Medical Care was cured of cancer. I believe God has his Will and if its in his will to heal me of Narcolepsy he will. I also believe that through man and his will we have doctors and medicine and science and that way I have medicine (very strong and I dont like takin it but have too) that makes me be able to have a normal life. I think that is miracle in itself. Christianity and Science have become mortal enemies nowadays because of people like our president but alot of Christian churches forget that not all science is bad just when its used to play God such as Global Warming. Politics have destroyed our country for years and Christianity and a lot of churches (not all) have become very political in themselves wich throws alot of people away form churches. I believe my Bible, these are my opinion and my beliefs, I don't listen to what everyone else has to say. I love my church and my teachers and I take in what I learn but Ive also learned that Christianity in its purest form has been slowly destroyed bit by bit in America. I believe in my Bible and Jesus Christ and there is only one way to find out if Im right and that will happen when I die. I live by my Bible and that is my chosen choice and I treat my wife and friends with as much respect as I would have them treat me. Throwin my beliefs and accusing others for there beliefs is not my job. I try my best to live by example and if somebody ask then I tell. Its in the Bible....Its not anyones responsibility to judge anyone, only ourselves.

I don't see anyone different either, again I consider myself as neutral in here, since what I believe the most is that anything is possible, I have nothing to argue, but how long before someone hits a soft spot, and the flaming begins?

@theblackdragon: I don't mean to come across like a jerk. I'm sorry. As I stated earlier, this kind of stuff is just really important to me, and I take it very seriously. But to answer your statement in a kind way, how do we still know what right from wrong is? If our sense of right and wrong just evolved, then who is to say Hitler was wrong for doing what he did? His sense of right and wrong may have evolved that way? Who's sense of right and wrong do we follow? I'm really being sincere.

@Kizzi....one thing to keep in mind is that the Bible is a interpretation from another language. If you havent found it yet I really recomend finding the Bible call The Message. Its translated into modern day American English language and very easy to read. Most all Christian I know fully believe in Carbon Dating and that the Earth is millions of years old. Dinosaurs WERE here before man. And Genesis states the God created all creatures and man and Gods 7 days are definately NOT 24hrs. Old Testiment people lived hundred of years wich is because the atsmophere would have been different then. Some say the flood changed things (interpretation) but creatures were on Earth before man are there wouldnt be all the fossils of dinosaurs. Heck who know if God just wasn't having some fun with the dinosaurs LOL. And it also doesn't say the Earth is the only life. There could be other planets with life on them. Is all the space out there really empty. Who knows but its fun as all get out to think about.

What is the best proof of creation?
The Bible's flood account is not the only account.
Dinosaurs are not extinct.
