Because I'm bored, and thought this would be interesting once next year's E3 hits. Last time it was Robot Chicken, this year was the Muppets...so what do you think they will do next year?
I'm gonna guess Legos, lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I was being honest. Instead of screwing around with Muppets and stuff they need to have games people want. Did Sony have Muppets? No. Did they announce, Shenmue III, Final Fantasy VII, The Last Guardian, games people have been wanting for years? They sure did. Same with MS they announced the Rare collection, Backwards compatibility etc.
Your a game company Nintendo start acting like it.

I was thinking about next year theme to actually. First I think if they are going to have a full NX reveal that Nintendo would do a live conference next year. However considering the NWC will be back I could see them revealing it then and then giving full info during the digital event.
If they do the Digital Event next year I would say go back to there strength and go back to Robot Chicken style. Muppets were really good for a intro although I felt they did not do much after the StarFox reveal. While Robot Chicken style just lends itself to 15 second bursts of humor better.
Since retro games are becoming more popular mainstream wise, Wreck-It Ralph and Pixels giving old school gaming lots of love, I would say 8-bit versions of Reggie and Iwata and others if I had to choose a brand new theme for 2016.
I was think Lego too but since I don't want to feel like a copycat, I'll say K'nex.
Also going Anime would be interesting. They can use the same studio that made 2 of the shorts for Kid Icarus: Uprising and the trailer for Palutena in SSB (Shaft Inc. I think). I can imagine Reggie powering up to show his body is ready while Iwata shooting a force blast "Directly" at his foes.
A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

@Tasuki maybe we should wait and play the game first before we all start saying, "Announce games we actually want."
BTW, they're making games. shrugs
I agree wholeheartedly with the idea that Nintendo should go with the Simpsons/American Dad/whatever etc... design. That might even appeal to adults, and, thus, announce games that "also appeal to the older Nintendo fans."
God first.

Those aren't mutually exclusive you know. They can do both. Also, Nintendo isn't a game company - they're an entertainment company. They've never been limited to just games.
Dude, anime shorts with the Nintendo crew would be amazing. Like. Short anime renditions of them in whatever game they're about to talk about. Just imagine Miyamoto kicking boar butt in a Zelda U style wooded area.
