Nintendo's E3 2016 theme should be CG Trailers. Instead of having people (or muppets) everything should be CG except the games. The games will be real footage. That way Nintendo can have to the most CG and the most gameplay footage lol

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I was being honest. Instead of screwing around with Muppets and stuff they need to have games people want. Did Sony have Muppets? No. Did they announce, Shenmue III, Final Fantasy VII, The Last Guardian, games people have been wanting for years? They sure did. Same with MS they announced the Rare collection, Backwards compatibility etc.

Your a game company Nintendo start acting like it.

Agreed. No one cares about the Muppets skit anymore. It doesn't matter if it was entertaining if the Digital Event was garbage!!! Nintendo deserves to lose this E3. Hopefully it will open their eyes. Last year... Nintendo won. This year... Is anyone really voting for them for having the best E3? NO. ... Sorry, I'm still bitter about how bad it was.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

The Three Stooges.

Though that probably would have been a better theme for this year.

@Blast: I really don't feel like this year's presentation was so bad. I can't remember a single thing I didn't think looked at least worth a try, and my only particularly negative thoughts were that Star Fox Zero isn't heavy enough to please and E3 crowd, the Prime fans were bound to be super pissed about Fed Force, even if I think it looks like a good game to try with some friends, and that nothing of strong value was coming to Wii U until September. Yeah, there were a lot of games we already knew about. Whatever. I like those ones and can't wait to play them. Yeah, there was a lot of time spent talking about developers instead of games. Doesn't strike me as being much different from other conferences. They just set aside time specifically for that. (And hey, I find said developer stories to be extremely interesting!) So they showed more spin-offs than main branch titles, this year. Boo hoo! Said spin-offs look to be rather good on average. So they didn't absolutely blow the doors off the hinges with Wii U titles lined up to the end of the decade. Whatever. At least my 3DS is gonna see some use in its final season. I've seen your list of problems with this year's E3, but it seems to center entirely around "I wanted this, and this, and this, and ooh! I wanted this, too. And this thing. And that one." You know what? I wanted a new 3D Mario, a new 3D Donkey Kong some Splatoon and Mario Kart DLC info, and games coming out this Summer. I didn't get any of those, but do you see me busting down Nintendo's door for them having the gall to try and make a Metroid Prime game to appease an unpleasable crowd with the only thing Nintendo likely had the resources for at the time in the way of a Metroid game? Or trying to shame Retro for having the interest to do a game other than Metroid Prime? Or walking down to Game Freak and DEMANDING that they put out a new Poke'mon game this year? No! Because Nintendo showed us stuff that, while not what we wanted, may still be entertaining and worth a shot. So how about you come to the realization that your expectations were way too high, given what we knew before E3 and either tune Nintendo out until 2016 or give their current offerings a chance?

How can you blame me (or any Nintendo fan) for having reasonably high expectations for that Digital Event when last year's E3 was amazing? There seemed to be a vibe that Nintendo was gonna shown impressive stuff at the Digital Event. It was a unspoken vibe of "Now its Nintendo's turn to show why their hidden awesome surprises!". Did I get what I want? Heck no. The stuff that you wanted sounds A MILLION times better than what Nintendo showed! Literally the same games I was excited BEFORE the Digital Event are the same same exact games I'm excited AFTER the Digital Event. I'm still supporting XCX, Devil's 3rd, SMTxFE, Star Fox U Fire Emblem: Fates, Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's WW and a few others. I'm really hoping and expecting the inevitable early 2016 Direct for Wii U to be absolutely freaking amazing.
I'm not saying the Wii U is dead at all. I really love that console. I'm saying Nintendo's Digital Event was so bad that it has a lasting impact. Why aren't I'm excited for Triforce Heroes or Hyrule Warriors Legends? Well at this point... All I wanna see is Zelda U. I really don't care for anything else Zelda related until that game comes out. Zelda U is supposed to the be the ultimate Zelda game and I really don't wanna get tired of the series. Hyrule Warriors on Wii U can hold me until Zelda U.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!
