So what does one have to do to become a part of the Nintendo life family? What positions are available and what do they entail? Where can i get the details?

Now and then there will be a link on the main page that will read "Nintendo Life is looking for reviewers!" or "Nintendo Life is looking for reporters!" or that kind of thing.
When you see that, click the link, fill out the application, and dig up an example of your work to show the Big Cheeses.
At least, that's what I did. And not a day goes by that I don't regret it. :'-(
Do the gold sheilds mean that you work here or that you're really awesome? I'm just going to assume that it means that the person works here because I'M awesome, and I don't have a gold sheild

Why do you say that? And on that note, the best advice I can give you for breaking into video game journalism is practice practice practice. Read all of the reviews you can and then practice writing your own every chance you get. The more you write, the better you'll get and you'll also begin to develop your own writing style. And put a review anywhere on the internet you can. Gamefaqs, Amazon, eBay, or even your own blog or web site. The more the better.
I've been writing reviews for over a decade now and I'm just now beginning to get comfortable with my writing style. Of course you can also beg and plead a lot and maybe Daz will feel sorry for you like he did me. Of course that $100 I slipped him probably didn't hurt either.

no not that i can't write the reviews Corbie but being without a Computer kinda makes it hard.. thats why all i have is my Wii thats my computer so all the reviews i've written were from the Wii every single one.. but on a positive note if i did get picked i hope people would still think of me as Tails86 the Owner/Creator of Wii-kly Review
