I was just wondering if any body had ever been a victim of video game or any other theft before.
Today I was feeling sad so my mom and me were going to the Goodwill store to see if they had any video games. I sometimes hear about people finding cool stuff there so we went to go look. While we were there we found a TON of awsome dreamcast games there and they were only $1.99 each, so I grabbed them all and we bought them. We went out to the car and I looked in the cases to see if there were any scratches on them. Much to my surprise all of them were missing the discs. So we brought them back in hoping that maybe they were keeping the discs behind the counter and forgot to give them to us. It turns out that someone stole all of the discs to all the games they had. So we got our money back and I left feeling more depressed then when I came.
I know I'm not the only person to be the victim of a kleptomaniac so I made this thread so people can vent off their frustration and crushed feelings.
A long time ago, i used to have Pokemon Emerald. I got a level 100 swampert, a latias, level 70 swellow, level 60 aggron, beat the game, in only 11 hours! Then, when i came home late, i was really tired coming out of the car and decided to leave my GBA. The next morning, i go to the car, and the GBA is missing! Its still lost, even till today....
Also, I had a Playstation 2 with a brand new copy of grand theft Auto: San Andreas get stole from my car once. Kinda my fault though as I now realize that I left the door unlock...........
Then another Playstation 2. I was letting my sisters bf use mines since he had just moved into town. Basically things dont work out between them and when he went to left he got me for that(PS2) Madden 2009 and Nba live 2009. When I finally got a chance to talk with him about it a few weeks later he was like, " I thought you meant that I could have them since you had said you dont play them any more". And I was all like" yea, while you were staying with my sis and everything was cool and all, but you messed that up!" Long story short I ended up just letting him keep everything because that would have been the only way I would have gotten rid of that thing......
Several years ago, I was going to my piano lesson and I put my bag down for a moment, which had my books and my GBA SP in it (It wasn't a knapsack, I had to carry it with my hands, it was uncomfortable). A minute or 2 later, we kept going - once we got there, I realised I'd left my bag behind! Of course I went back as quick as I could, but my GB was gone, along with Pokemon Ruby (it even had a shiny pokemon on it ). Got a new one for my birthday. I couldn't have been more than 9 or 10 years old at the time.
my first car got broken into a couple of times. one of the windows wouldn't go up all the way anymore without wiggling it up yourself manually (hooray power windows...), and you could just shove that same window down to get into the car. it wasn't really a big deal -- i never kept the insurance/registration info in the glove-box or anything else important in the car because i knew it was so easy to get into, and that trick also saved me a couple'a times when i left the keys in the car, lol -- but there was one time where someone rummaged through and left the glove-box open, and there was a little light in it that was thus left on all night. that irritated me... sure, take the GBC with the busted screen that was lying on the floorboard, but don't waste my car's battery plz

Two issues of Nintendo Power that I had a subscription for were never mailed to my house. I also have not yet received the latest issue with the cover story on Scribblenauts 2 that NL users have been posting about for weeks. I'm starting to think some unscrupulous postal worker(s) is behind this, but does anyone have a similar story where they know this happened? Does anyone have advice for preventing/resolving this?
Had my cell phone in my backpack next to my first class back in high school, I've always left it without problems...then I found it missing and once I got it back my cell phone was missing. It was a crappy phone though, so whatever...funny thing is, my DS Lite was also there next to my phone too...it was left untouched. XD
