I currently live in Yorkshire in Northern England. The weather is the harshest it has been since 1981 (which was when I was born!) There has been snow on the ground since mid December.
I have to catch a train and a bus to get to work in the next town. Today I left work after an hour and had a snow day

I don't ever remember it snowing as much as is has where I live in Doncaster UK, today I have been out with 8 friends and we have built the biggest snowman I have ever seen, it must be about 7 or 8 foot tall and about 4 - 5 foot wide, also we have built a big Igloo, we have attempted this before but this is the first time there has been enough snow to finish it, it's awesome. I will get some pictures tomorrow when it is light and post them here.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Doesn't snow heaps in the suburbs of Christchurch, but we can still drive to the mountains and ski!

I Just realized it's summer here, so of course there's no snow, but we do get some in the winter.

The Pie O' Bob be watching you...

Yep, we got snow here in Sweden. And cold as he... wait hell isn't cold
It was actually many years since we had snow at christmas, so that was fun, but it can go away now. Hate the cold. Want summer. Not like last summer though when it rain all the time

Big fan of snow and winter weather in general, here. So I'm really enjoying this season so far.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the winter.
On Saturday, the high was -4F, and the low was -20F.
For you Metric users, that's a high of -20C and a low of -29C.
That doesn't include windchill.

I really need to leave Minnesota. This place is uninhabitable.

No snow now, but it did snow a couple of times in December, 2009.

West Texas weather is unpredictable, quite litterally.

It did on Christmas Eve (first white Christmas here in my 33 years) and did again the week after. It's supposed to snow again tomorrow. And theres a wrestling event here the 16th and appearing will be Al Snow.

@Stevie Thats one big snowman dude.Awesome.
I live in Manchester (UK) and we have currently got about a foot of snow (30cms) at the moment with more on the way.It has not snowed like this in the last 30 years and we are struggling to cope!! Not really been enjoying it so far as getting into work has been a right royal pain in the a**. I have the next two days off though so I'm gonna have fun with my daughter building snowmen etc. Should be fun!!

What's this bit for again?

James

@Stevie - that's possibly the biggest snowman I've ever seen. It certainly puts my little white dude to shame! I'll consider that a thrown-down gauntlet though, so expect to see an enormous monstrosity so big you can see it from Doncaster!

LOL, the Snow-Wars begin. Don't make too big a snowman guys, it may fall over and crush us all.

Stevie, I read your description yesterday, but didn't imaging it being that big. Wow! Nice work fella.
