Its a shame though there seems to be fewer and fewer faqs being written. I remember late 90s into early 2000s every game even puzzle games had faqs. It was rare not to see a faq. Now since the DS came out its the reverse.

I'm betting the popularity of LPs has something to with it.

I have to admit, I was a bit shocked when I visited recently and saw the changes. But the new site style/forum style does look better than the old one, and it's definitely not as '90s' in appearance.
Now maybe one day they'll add proper BB code and forum functionality...
GameFAQs still hasn't got a section for the 3DS Virtual Console. It's there on the page, but unclickable. Been that way foreves. What's up with that?????
it looks nice, but then i've never really gone to GFaqs for how 'pretty' the place is — just information. I think the best thing they've done with the site in recent years is add the Q and A sections to the game pages where you can just ask specific questions, usually if I'm stuck my answers can be found in there or on the boards.
