(Let's be positive, ya'll. If we weren't fans, we wouldn't come here and complain now would we? LOL.)
But seriously... I love dsiware shop... it keeps getting better, too. Flipnote is AMAZING!! Loved the last few regular dsi releases, too.
Just a few of my favorites... Flipnote Studio Asphalt 4 Elite Racing Mighty Flip Champs Mario Clock & Calc (yes, I did say that in public, didn't I?!) Brain Challenge Brain Age Express (all games, love all 3!) Zengage precipice Pictobits Dr. Mario

Have to agree; haven't understood the people who are complaining. Although I like puzzles a lot and that seems to the genre most of the games are falling into. Maybe the people who are upset are looking for games like the upcoming 'Thorium Wars' or more like 'Asphalt 4'.
I was disappointed because I was so sure that DSiware would get better but it seemed so unlikely with each week but things are really starting to pick up.
It sort of rocks. It has its share of great games: MFC, Asphalt 4, the Art Styles, MVDK: MMA, Dr. Mario Express, Planet Puzzle League, Paper Plane, Bird and Beans, the DSi Browser, and of course, Flipnote Studio. Sadly it is mixed in with a bunch of crap: WarioWare: Snapped, the Master of Illusion Express "games", those ******* Mario Apps, etc.
But with the announcement of Pop + Solo, things are looking up.
I can't be positive on this topic, even if I coat it with extreme sarcasm.
Why? Because I turn my head and glance at Apple's App store, and the revamped Sony store for the PSP and I can't help but get really sad.
Are there good games on DSiWare. Yes. I literally own every DSiWare game (Magic ones were a waste of money, what was I thinking!) but, compared to those two structures, Nintendo's online sucks so many noodles.
DSi is looking good. You guys remember when WiiWare sucked? Look at it now! DSiWare will soon become just as great.
See this is what I don't understand... Why are people accepting this and giving Nintendo time. They had more then a year to go made DSiWare good after the Japanese launch, and they had time before that!, They learned a lot of lessons with WiiWare and they... Do it all over again?
I mean looking at the content from yesterdays Sony conference at gamescon and PSPGos system look amazing out the door.. Why is waiting for something that should already be good acceptable?
I suspect that not many developers were interested in making games for the DSiware like Japan. They probably want to wait until the DSi became popular before making games on it.

I don't get this part. The Japanese DSi only got its shop past mid-December so it hasn't had a year yet by any stretch. Unless you were trying to say something else though, sorry.
Yes, but this isn't a rant post, it's a "i love dsiware/dsishop" post!
I just can't wait for Pop+Solo on Monday... things are looking up!

I like it so far, but we need some more 'epic' titles. All that's really on there so far are just puzzle games. They're good puzzle games, but like I said, more epic stuff, like platformers and stuff.
Yay! Tomorrow's dsishop is gonna have some good stuff!

You can't have love without a bit of rant my friend. I personally felt Wiiware had a stronger launch as apparently, devs knew of it before hand. With dsi, Ninty has to fill in too many blanks with a bit of filler until 3rd parties consider dsiware profitable. That said, strong start. There are at least 4 truly great games and plenty of fun, albeit costly, diversions. Heck, I'm looking forward to myNotebook. While 4 doesn't sound like much, I'm the kind of guy who feels there are only 10 great games on any platform a year give or take. So this is fantastic!
