I'd love to see the Virtual Handheld on the thing, but other than that, I love it.

Plain old gamer :)

I agree with Corbie. I am awaiting E3 with high hopes.

I have A LOT of games, if you want to play something, just email me jangonov&#...

I don't hate it, but I dislike the gimmicky camera. They should have just stuck with the DSLite until they release the "3DS".

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Some higher-quality DSiware games would be good.

I also hate the fact that Gameloft is supporting it.

I love it :3

About the Virtual Handheld, with the 3DS around the corner I doubt it will come to the DSi, though it's still possible

I hate the Matte finish on the Outside of it, the DS Lite's Glossy finish looks alot better.
Also, I honestly could care less about DSiWire....Although the new Shante game looks pretty good, but overall most of the stuff seems like simple flash game material. Then there's the Camera, don't care for that either.

The only great thing for me based on the DSi are the slightly larger screens, the new power button placement and Volume buttons. Also arent the A,B,X,Y buttons 'clicky' compared to the DS Lite? Since I like clicky

Moco_Loco

I hate the fact that I can't afford one!

I didnt really know how much I hated the matte finish on the DSi until I tried to game without the silicone cover on their. Ive always had that cover on their ever since day one and never had any reason to take it off. Just got in the habit of leaning the system on anything that would make it stand at a angle on a table while I did things like surf the web or play Dragon Quest Wars(stylus only type of things). Theirs no way to lean the DSi on any smooth surface and game at the same time without putting something in front out the system to prevent it from sliding down. Honestly, I guess I should have know better, but it never really crossed my mind. Even though its not likely to happen, gaming without the cover also make it seem like the DSi is one slip away from a deathly fall. I guess I dont really hate the matte finish, just gaming without the silicone cover just doesnt feel right.

WHAT I LIKE
1. Bigger screens
2. Change-on-demand
3. Downloadable games
4. Menu
5. Internet
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
1. Gimmicky features like apps and cameras
2. No GBA slot
3. Most DSiWare is uninteresting, and I can already get G&W games for the GBA
4. No Virtual Console

I have to agree a little bit with you. But atleast they bring new content. Some of the games on DSiWare have been getting good reviews. Better than some Wiiware games have .

with exeption to dsiware, what ever happened to ths dsi only retail games nintendo were promising.
i kinda thought that was the whole point of adding the camera and the extra ram and cpu power.

It's a late-generation cash-in, it has gimmicky cameras, it has a slightly shorter battery life, it has weirdness like firmware updates, it's entirely unnecessary since the DS Lite is the perfect execution of the DS handheld.

Then I got one. <3 And I love it more than my DS Lite. IMHO, all of the so-called "gimmicky" little extras like the cameras, new software, WPA support, larger screens and so on add up to make a far better experience than the Lite ever gave. It's a case of synergy.

Browser sometimes runs out of memory and/or freezes up, most of the time on twitter.

Some of the DSiWare is a waste, like those illusion games, I was forced to download the first two, by my sister and $2 is too much for each game in that series, for now on I'm going with my gut and reading reviews.

Why alienate the huge DS install base for a few gimmicky features.
The extra RAM certainly won't get use since most games run well below what the DS is capable of.

No real benefits in releasing DSi only games, but there are massive cuts in the potential number of buyers.
