Topic: Chewing on stylus?

Do you chew your stylus? I do sometimes. Used to I didn't, but after playing the Professor Layton games I do xD

Oh, I thought this thread was talking about the little kids in Wal-Mart who try to eat the stylus or try to smash through the top screen.

But no, don't do that.

I kind of do...
I more or less just put it in my mouth and "granny bite" it with my lips...
I do that with my pencils too...It helps me concentrate...

I usually just fidget it around while I think.

(In Professor Layton, other games I just go superfast.)

i totally bite my stylus while i'm playing my DSi. i don't know where i picked up the habit, but i put pens and pencils in my mouth to hold them while i'm working on stuff with my hands too. :3

In some thinking games I'll put it against my pixelteeth, but no, I don't chew it.

I used to, but it broke my original stylus. Good thing I got a DSi, now I can have a decent stylus again.

You know they sell replacement styli right? (Yes, styli is the correct spelling, and more fun to say )

@sak904: our DSs/DSis each come with a replacement stylus, too. :3

Strangely their is scientific proof that stimulating the buccal cavity in your mouth improves concentration. So chewing gum or a pencil / stylus etc. should help you concentrate. I chew on pens all the time its terrible and I try soooo hard not to chew on the stylus but you cant help it.

I agree it is hard not to.

No, I've never chewed my stylus. Wouldn't that make it difficult to slide it back into your DS if you chewed it all up?

I've been trying to break that habit of late, but yeah, I've been known to chew on the end of my stylus. Same goes for pens.

This whole topic is making my OCD side cringe so hard.

I've never even thought of it. When playing Professor Layton, usually I'm doodling on the screen with the stylus.

Even with pencils, the only time I bit my pencils were when I was a kid. And I only bit them because my classmate would do it.

lol... All I can say is... Ewww. No. You have no idea how dirty that ds screen is... dust, etc... That's just gross unless you sanitize it first properly. I was just having a funny thought.. lol.. I got that Club Nintendo game and stylus set and now I can see why that can come in handy for some people but I never chew my stylus. lol

I think my little brother has chewed on my stylus before, but I never have.

Oh, and I wanted to say... that Club Nintendo stylus and sd cart case comes with 8 different multi-colored styli (sp?) ... so u guys may wanna get that!
