Do you really want to pay $8 again to own them on the handheld? Nintendo charged $5 for NES games on 3DS VC regardless of whether you already bought them on Wii or Wii U VC and they will do the same if they put SNES games on 3DS VC.
Only if Nintendo did a cross-buy deal. Can't see them doing it for free. Something similar to SNES Wii VC games you own having a reduced price on the Wii U VC for example.

No. Not unless I get an XL so I can actually see what I'm doing without having to squint and/or look through a microscope to see what I'm doing. And I'm not getting an XL...
PS1 Classics are $6-10 and are instantly available on your PS3, PSP, and Vita. I'm not sure why Nintendo thinks they can pretend that people aren't aware of this. Probably for the same reason that they thought they could pretend that NA consumers weren't aware of the N3DS before this month's Direct.

we are a vocal minority here. think about that before you claim what everybody does or doesn't know. most console owners don't frequent forums. if they have a 3ds or a wiiu you the store will tell them about a new direct.

i think alot of the gamers asking for snes on the 3ds only have a 3ds. i could be wrong but if not.....this ruins your argument.
Do I want the option to play games such as Super Mario World, Link to the past, and F-zero on the go. Yes. Yes I do. Cross buy would be lovely and is long overdue. But not having it isn't a reason to want SNES games not to come to the 3DS.

pretty sure thats why they are literally the first button in the 3ds eshop the day after they air...... for the average consumer you know.
I would rather have access to SNES games on my 3DS wherever I go than be stuck only playing them at home. In fact, I think older 2D games tend to be a better fit for handhelds, because it's not sort of large scale experience I want to sit down and dedicate large amounts of time to.

yeah, but who wants to play them? Nintendo has a large back catalog of solid evergreen titles and they can get away with charging us for every platform because we keep buying them.
