OMG I remember renting this game back in the day and used the infinite energy cheat on Game Genie when I started not knowing that I am supposed to die in the first boss battle. I shot at the boss a million times and was thinking to myself "why won't this thing die?!" and hated this game because of it. Later I found out that I was meant to die in the first boss that was why I couldn't kill it.

We should get Obama to get the international community to classify US as part of Europe instead of NA so we can get these good stuff released here too?

When I saw Dragon Quest on the announcement title for a second there I thought the NES Dragon Quest is being released on the VC LOL!

Finally Final Fantasy comes to VC in NA! Thorium Wars also looks very good so I'll download both. Hopefully Smash Bros. and Final Fantasy 4 will come to VC soon.

Since Nintendo trademarked Super Mario Collection in August according to Famitsu, I thought maybe Super Mario All Stars would be on there. Maybe next month?

Nice to see Super Star Wars in EU. But they should hold off releasing it on the VC in Japan until we get some of their VC games that we've so far been denied.

I thought Final Fantasy V would be on the list considering there had been one released each month since May. Also no Nintendo 64 games, that probably means no N64 for EU in September as well though NA may get Super Smash Bros.

WOW! Super Star Wars was COMPLETELY unexpected! That more than makes up for the poor VC releases of the last two months since we can anticipate more treats from LucasArts like Rogue Squadron for N64.

Japanese are lucky to get FFIV on VC. They don't need another VC game in August as this game is sufficient to keep them occupied for a whole month.

God I miss those days when we had three VC games a week instead of one. Just watch, one of these days they'll change it to one VC game every other week.

There's another big VC game that Europe has for a year and half now that the North American VC still has not gotten, Super Mario Picross!

After the 300th VC game for NA, with its one VC game per week release, the 400th game won't be here until 2011.

North American gamers can play Super Punch Out on the Wii right now. Just buy Fight Night Round 2 for the Gamecube and it includes Super Punch Out and you can play it on the Wii. That way we don't need to wait for it to hit NA VC.

Please Nintendo consider releasing Super Scope SNES games so I can hope for a chance that Yoshi's Safari will come to the VC.

Wait a minute, before everyone blows their tops over this news, what about Mother 1 for the Famicom? That might not have the disputed copyright issue concerning its music and it was translated too for a US release but never released due to gamers moving on to SNES. So a VC release of Mother 1 might be possible and if enough people download it here, Nintendo of Japan might reconsider changing the music for Mother 2 release here on VC seeing how much money they would make.

True, but NOA can release movie based games like Batman Returns, Home Alone, Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage, Road Runner Death Valley Ralley, etc. on the VC. Anyway, I don't see what's there to complain about this week's release. It's a Sonic game and a platformer. It may not be great but sure beats Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Heroes, and other 3D Sonic junk. The really good ones will be here on the VC don't worry.
