Gameplay is excellent, the music plays just like in the 60Hz version and there's no extra border as in many other PAL games. People just complain about nothing these days... when i was your age we didnt even have videogames.

Now you all know why Nintendo did not include this battery in the 3DS. Another 40 or 50$ on top of the launch price would've killed it

@ajcismo Exactly! Probably not an outright price drop but lots of pack-in bundle offers, like a 32 Mb console, Nintendo Land and Mario Kart for the regular price (so basically a 60$ discount). I'm betting that will be the top seller in the 2013 holiday season. The Wii U will have a well-established software line-up by that time and PS4 and Xbox720 won't and they'll also be considerably more expensive.

Even out-of-print games like Pokemon Crystal still sell very well on the second-hand market. IMHO there's always new demand for these oldies from a new generation of trainers

a local store has a "buy two games, get one free" promotion this week so i can actually get two free games. sweet!

@Moshugan manufacturing, packaging, marketing, promotion / advertising, distribution & transport to name but a few. Before a game sits on a store shelf, you've already spent a load of money just getting it there.

If your physical copies get stolen or lost in a fire, Nintendo won't replace them either even though you've registered them. That's why you've got insurance

Nice gesture but translation is only a small part of the total cost of localizing a game so it won't make much difference.

The SNES is the best Nintendo console ever (so far). All the titles in this top 10 and many others from its vast library are still very playable today.

yeah, i got a survey for a game i never bought instead of Nintendo Video. Still got the 50 stars so i don't care too much

about time. prices here are 20% higher and we don't get a free premium gift every year

IMHO the list of compatible games will remain small. This clearly wasn't Nintendo's idea in the first place and only released to placate some 3rd party developers (ie Capcom)

Must buy! BTW: this is NOT the successor to DS-10 (which modelled the MS-20 synth.) but an upgraded version of the M01 digital workstation software. As far as i know that was only released in Japan

one thing is certain: Xbox720 and PS4 will NOT be priced lower than Wii U. As a matter of fact: expect a Wii U price reduction and lots of special "value for money" packs as soon as the other two hit the market. And that is also the moment to pull out all the marketing stops. Methinks that will be Nintendo's strategy
