Topic: What if Nintendo released a new 3DS?

I rather just continue playing my black 3ds. I may not have a good imagination, but I fail to see possible new things to add that will catch my interest...

They are different. One is 2D and the other 3D

the only logical step forward for ds's is a HDS, otherwise, stat a new three screened handheld

What, so I'm suppose to swing my wii mote at that 3.5 inch screen? 3DS attachment for the Wii U ftw bro, imagine playing Animal Crossing on a 80 inch 4k tv. So much win.

a 3DS with a special Circle pad that can be turned 180° to either side to be primally used as steering wheel in racing games but useful for other stuff too.

Meh. Go back playing my GBA games on my original 3DS. What model they're going to release? 3DSS?

Would it be possible to get an upgrade that at least helps out the sweet spot a little? Love the 3D but, especially on the XL, it can be annoying if you move even a millimeter...

I know it isn't absolutely necessary but it obviously would be nice, especially if they aren't going to keep it as a main attraction on future consoles.

I also like the previously mentioned idea about helping out to make the browser actually usable.

The add-on to make Gamecube/Wii(hell, might as well throw in all previous devices XD) games suggestion is pretty amusing though, as I'd that in a heartbeat.

Probably not. I've already invested a lot into my XL.

Mind to elaborate? Unless you got a lot of cases, I don't really see how you can invest so heavily into the XL. The only accessory that comes to mind is the circle pad pro XL.

Well, I think Nintendo should make a 3DS Lite! Also add a NintendOS with messages (cross-platform), cross-buy and more colours! Add Wii U streaming and BAM!

That would be three triple screens, aka nine screens. Imagine that!

That would only make the line between 3DS and Wii U even more vague. Not a good Idea IMO.

True, but good marketing would help.

I doubt they will (three models per generation tends to be the norm for Nintendo handhelds), but if they did, I wouldn't buy it. Already have a 3DS and 3DS XL, don't need another one (I had no interest in the 2DS when it was released).
