Topic: The Namco, Sega and Capcom 3DS Project

Anyone have any ideas or guesses what it could be?

Me.. I have no clue, but I do think that it's more to do with Namco than Sega or Capcom for two reasons:

Banpresto is involved in the development of this game, which is a subsidiary of Namco (you see their name in the upper right). Also, Namco Bandai Games are publishing the game. That doesn't mean it's completely focused on a Namco franchise, but it's something to note. It could just be a entirely new project.

Other guesses is that the "vault" shown could be referencing Namco, Capcom and Sega going into their vault of "long lost IPs" that are ready for revival.There's that report of Seamen being brought to the 3DS. It may or may not be related, but it's one thing to keep in mind. Another assumption is it could be an entirely new horror game- as the mood of the teaser site really gives off that impression. Of course, it could just be a "throw off" to make you think something so obvious, as teaser sites have been known to be unpredictable at times.

So, basically, this thread was made just to discuss what you think this project is.

I just read that little post-it. I know the meaning of the Kanjii may be different in Japanese, but in Mandarin Chinese, it says; "No, way. Impossible."
I've seen Japanese language using Chinese Kanjii and the meanings are not too different.

I'm hoping for Soul Calibur V 3D with bonus characters (Mega Man and Gilius Thunderhead?)

Considering that it has both Capcom & co sitting in petri dishes inside a freezer I'm guessing it must be Resident Evil related (grown virus' etc)... so I'm hoping it's Resident Gundam. You control the Gundam of your choice through a massive 3D universe fighting the forces of Zeon, Umbrella, zombie mobile suits and Pacman makes a cameo.

The last time Namco and SEGA worked with Nintendo it was for the glorious F-ZERO GX on the GameCube.

the one thing about the teaser site: its a vault but the person is opening it with surgical gloves(medical gloves, whatever) and inside the company names are in petri dishes, like for bacteria.Isnt that a bit odd?

If it's a crossover, then I hope the birds from Sky Kid are in it.

the only thing i can think of is possibly a street fighter vs virtua fighter vs tekken fighting game crossover. but it can be anything: a new I.P with new characters, or a game featuring megaman, sonic, pacman perhaps

This would be bad, cause you know Sega would be the only ones willing to localize it.

Some kind of party game >.> maybe a mario party featuring Tales cast, Mega man cast, and sonic cast.... lol. Honestly, I'm not holding my breath for something amazing.

Maybe something involving every company's blue character.
I just hope it's something amazing. I'd love a fighter, but I wouldn't mind something else.

Hopefully it's the Namco X Capcom sequal I've always wanted, now with SEGA!

I somewut hope it would be something like halo :3. But it would mean copyrighted. I think nintendo should have their own exclusive game that's more realistic. (e.g.Halo for the Xbox)
