From the team behind the Galaxy games? Thats really good to hear, I hope the new OST of this game could be SMG2 quality. That raccoon tail on the logo immediately makes me think of a SMB3 throwback so I'm sure the Raccoon and Tanuki suit will be there.Hopefully the Hammer Bros. suit or the Kuribo shoe would make it, That would be day one for me. Can't wait for E3.
Oh I hope they bring back the suits from smb 3!! I'd also like to see a return of the different colored Yoshi's that were in super mario world.. This game is going to be amazing, I can just tell!!!

I don't actually think this is going to be another 'Galaxy' game. Seeing as it is being developed by the team behind the 'Galaxy' games it's only natural that it would contain elements and easter eggs from the Super Mario Galaxy installments but I could be wrong. I think Super Mario 3DS will be a cross between SMB, SM64 and SMG.

Of course this game will have something similar to a Comet medal. It was made by the same team. That doesn't mean this will be a galaxy game. It just means that this game will tend to have elements that Galaxy had.
Lots of people are saying that this game is similar to super mario world. I don't see it all, mind you there is only 4 screenshots. I think it's going to be a super mario bros game but in 3d. If you look at the top right screenshot, it looks like the blocks from smb 3 are returning.
Yeah i guess so. What if the tanooki suit replaces yoshi in this game? Super Mario Galaxy 2 was heavily focused on yoshi, this might be all about power-ups and certain suits.
I'm happy about this and will pluck down my money when the time comes, but I want to see pics of classic side-scrolling 3DS Mario! The 2D gamer in me is feeling like the last one picked for dodge ball teams!

Is it just me or does this just scream SMB3? If you look at the sceenshots you'll notice a smaller mario like in the SMB when he take a hit. None of the 3D marios have that. Also you notice the tanooki tail in the logo. How could anyone forget flying around in the tanooki suit. Something is calling out *SMB3*DS.

And the fact that Small Mario is back means that the game will be more challenging and intense.....Because as we all know, when your small mario and you get hit once it's game over and that's the way it should be.
I get the feeling that there will still be a health meter, but once the health meter is almost out, mario will get smaller. I also had a thought about the game having that "dare devil comet" idea from galaxy, in which the health system will use that of the sidescroller games. Or maybe it's just a mini mushroom. Who knows, but it concerns me...
