Topic: StreetPass Mii Plaza

The puzzle pieces you get from StreetPass random? I've always ran into people on my campus with no new pieces, so I'm having to rely on the coins...lol. FINALLY completed the Mario Galaxy puzzle too, love it...think these are those "preview" images thing that were shown at E3 too...yes, I'm probably late, shut up...lol.

At the first StreetPass NYC meetup, someone was there with a Japanese 3DS and it worked fine.

Great...can't start a new puzzle panel till I get one from SP....this is gonna take forever...T_T

So I suppose region locking only has to do with games sold in one country not working on a 3DS from another country?

I got my first streetpass hits this weekend. It made me more giddy than I thought it would.

I got my first couple with a couple of friends who stopped by on their way to Sakuracon.
I also got two random encounters. Once at the Calgary Zoo, which was super packed. And I saw the person taking photos with their 3DS, so that was cool.
And then just on Saturday when I went out shopping and it was surprisingly slow in the stores I went to so I completely didn't expect it to happen.

Yay for StreetPass being region free! (for software that supports it) I was just wondering because I might be going overseas soon and I don't wanna miss out on StreetPasses. I only have 2 titles registered for StreetPass and that's the Mii Plaza and 3DS sound. The only 3DS game I have so far is Pilotwings Resort soo...

I got my first real StreetPass at the mall yesterday!! It was amazing, I walked into my Gamestop with the demo unit I had activated a week prior and pulled out my 3DS expecting to see the green light alerting me to the StreetPass with the demo unit. I took care of that StreetPass and slipped the system back in my pocket. After about a half hour more in the mall I was back in the car and pulled the system out to check the Game Notes for something.....AND THE LIGHT WAS GREEN AGAIN!!! It was so unexpected and awesome to get a REAL StreetPass! I probably got a bit more excited over that little green LED than I should of but it was just so great! I also got a SSF4 StreetPass from the person. I can't wait to get to my copy so I can see if I won the fight! StreetPass rules!!!

Ive only had two StreetPasses so far, but thanks to the popularity of Street Fighter 4, both those also had the StreetFighter StreetPass so ive had two battles on my log... the good thing about that is that they are always available for replay whenever (and ive won both)
Hopefully more and more games will include these StreetPass mini-games and more and more people use them... I also have Samurai Warriors but no SW:C StreetPasses so far.

If all goes well my family and I will be vacationing in England this fall...so some of you may be getting hits from Pennsylvania come October / November.

I got my first out-of-area hit yesterday. Someone from Virginia was strolling around downtown Philadelphia.

Despite owning a 3DS since launch day and carrying it around with me everywhere, I got my first (non family member) hits today. Edinburgh's busiest shopping street (Princes Street) did the trick. Even better, I had a ghost time to race in Ridge Racer.

I knew the functionality worked with family 3DS's, but it was a bit of a thrill to FINALLY get some hits from random strangers!

I was out on Saturday and got 9 hits. I was very pleased. Although it's very annoying at the later levels of the Quest because they're all Level 1 and thje knight won't take damage from those weaklings. Luckily I know someone with a 3DS so when we see each other we always StreetPass and she's at level 6 now.

yeah, the same happened here. its a little flaw, i wonder if nintendo thought it would be nice to do it this way.
i got this awesome idea guys! Why not making a one-time only chance to use the mii you just met in the mii plaza. Then it goes to waste, because, you know, its cool that way. people will love this feature. Whatever you do, if you push home, you waste it. niiiice

I guess so. But the StreetPass in said game should still work, I assume.

I got my first out of state hit today! Some guy from Wisconsin. It was at an arcade too.

Lol, because the first place everybody wants to visit when out of state is the local arcade. XD
