Is it like holograms ala Star Wars, or is it just a lot of depth? Different people are telling me different things. Both would be cool I guess, but the "3D without glasses!" tends me to believe it's going to be like holograms.
People who have tried it out say it's like there's a little world inside the 3DS. Like they're looking inside a window into another world. That's how realistically 3D it is.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
It's the one you find in these ninetees 3D pictures where you have to put your nose on it and then stare blank at it while you'll lose the effect when you start moving. No in all honesty i'm just going with what Wikipedia has to say about it: Autostereoscopy.
Well lets see. If it has the ability to play 3d movies then it should be just like the at the show with glasses.
Well, yeah for the movies it would look about the same as 3D movies normally do (meaning so-so 3D), but I think the games will have the 3D implemented much better.

And the best use of 3D I've ever seen wasn't even Avatar- but the Amazing Spiderman ride @ Islands of Adventure. It felt so real like you were in the comic book world. And the fact that you can feel the heat- such as the Green Goblin throwing those fire balls and as it approached you it got hotter and hotter (like seriously, not WARM, but freaking HOT). Best use of 3D and using real props. Everyone needs to experience the ride.
I have no idea what that image is from, but it is an example of a stereoscopic 3D .gif. That's basically how the 3DS works, except it's a lot smoother and looks better.

I co-host a podcast about professional wrestling titled Blind Tag and I write/draw a daily webcomic about a werewolf in high school named Duane.

Just like the wii was supposed to be awesome with shooters - meaning we'll likely get no platformers, but something along the lines of horsetraining games.
