let's talk about the two Resident Evil we have for 3DS ! Revelations and Mercenaries 3D
i think revelations is one of the greatest games on 3DS. it is mindblowing what capcom has achieved. the visuals are still the best on 3DS in my opinion. the story is actually one of the best i have seen in videogams. like a good hollywood thriller with some nice twists. gameplay is a nice mix between survival horror and action. now the raid mode is not my cup of tea. it is fun but it isn't as good as the other RE game on 3DS.
i actually played more mercenaries than revelations, because the game is just addictive. unlocking all the charackters, custumes and skills is super fun. the skillsystem is really cool. kinda reminded me of the percs from call of duty modern warfare (only "modern" CoD in played).
I played Mercenaries 3D a lot at launch, very underrated game.
The retail version also got a lot of negative buzz around launch due to the inability to erase save data.

I love this game for some reason i'm back to playing it.Sad barley anyone is playing online.Cause i want to play with someone,i put so many hours into this game i know every level like the back of my hand,god i have no life.
If anyone wants to play online then yet mii know, while I don't have much done on RER I got a lot done in REM3D, got both games on my system right now so there is no delay.
Still can't join ya, no one on global...maybe you would have better luck trying to join me on global? got a room open...seeing if anyone still plays the game.
i played 3 or 4 matches tonight online in mercenaries, the game is even better in multiplayer! lining up combos is even more fun! but you have to be very careful. if a player gets hit by a big attack from one of the bosses you can not come back to life alone. you need you partner to stand right beside you and use a herb. if not you die in like 10 seconds and the game is over.
i had one partner who attacked me all the time though. stupid troll!

@6ch6ris6 That was fun oh and here's some tips when you play online with someone.If the unique monsters like a chainsaw guy is stunned or blinded, if you and your partners hit him with a melee one by one you will do double the damage.And only need to do it twice and their done,it's great.

Picked this up on sale awhile ago and glad I did. Great little time-killer. Recommended if you like TPS's. Not many TPS's on 3DS anyways.

I bought a cheap copy of Resident Evil Revelations and was surprised the previous owner got to level 50 in raid mode but had hardly played the main game in story mode.
The hours played already in raid mode was very high.
I am grateful as I wasn't about to put that amount of effort in and I am fully levelled up with weapons and can go to any stage now and play it unlocked.
Funny thing, is with all the gaming investment (labor) gone into it, it should be worth more used , rather than being at a really cheap preowned price.
May be capcom are onto something just with these raid mode games. Nice visually in new 3DS too.
does anybody know what the electric skill in mercenaries does different on level 3? in the walkthrough it says electric storm is unleashed but i see no difference ingame.
revelations has multiplayer it is is kinda boring in my opinion. i tried it like 2 times and it just wasnt nearly as fun as mercenaries. cant even remember how it works. i really dislike the enemies in revelations though. maybe that is one reason why mercenaries is way more fun to me

I did play Mercenaries (deleted when I upgraded to New 3DS) but didn't get that far. Does it get better as you persevere? It felt a bit simplistic in what I'd played.
