im nt a big fan of the eshop bt wont it be nice if nintendo were to rewards their ever so loyal spending customers sum things in return. im thinkin if u spend a certain amount they reward with a lil token (coins/points). jus like club.nintendo.com the more items ur register its more coins u get towards ur acount. u can spend ur ehops point/coins to purchase more items bt those items bought with coins/points does get ur more coins/points wats ur opinion

I think some fans ask for too much, but that's just me
Mircosoft has Xbox rewards that function the same way club nintendo does (gaining points for surveys and registering apps) But instead of spending the points they are turned into Microsoft points to use in the store.
WAT!

I think Club Nintendo of Europe has the same thing with Wii/DSi points, but it's so pricey from what I heard. I'd rather have solid objects decorate my room and collect dust

Nintendo Europe do have the scheme. I get 100 points for 400 stars and its got me plenty lf DSiware and Wiiware in the past. I hope they will make them compatible the eShop soon.

That seems like a rip off and that's the reason why Nintendo with the Wii U needs a unified account system.
OMG your so right! Only if Nintendo had a web site that gave us points for buying their games, ..oh wait....

At the moment I spend the stars on Nintendo points, buy the software on my DSi and transfer the game over. Its not ideal but at least my Nintendo stars come in handy.

i think its fine like this. they do give things now and then, like the zelda 25th anniversary, or new streetpass content soon, the ambassador stuff, the pokedex. cant give too many things without making your company financially at risk.
free stuff doesnt mean quality stuff anyway. i prefer paying a couple of dolalrs but having great stuff. like that freaky form game.
1. Acquire Club Nintendo Points. 2. Spend points on Club Nintendo junk 3. Sell Club Nintedo junk on ebay 4. Take money and buy Wii/DSi/3DS points cards. 5. ???? 6. Profit

I have a great idea for a Nintendo Loyalty program. How about we pay with our eShop coins... and we just get a game we payed for! Yeah, that's an awesome reward. In fact, Nintendo's already doing it. Bless their tanooki's souls!
Obvious flippancy aside, what is the point of this? It's just going to cause controversies and suspected conspiracies between the Nintendos of every region.
