I never owned it, but my cousin had a copy which I would frequently borrow for long periods of time. Great game.

No. I didn't own any Nintendo handhelds until the GBC.

Yes when I was a little kid (I still have it haven't played it in years though) it was one of my favorite GB games I could never beat it though, I could get all the way up to Wario but for some reason I could never beat him.

I still own it so I probably won't download it when it comes to 3DS this week.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Eel

I didn't, but from the small chances I had to play it back then, I didn't really liked it.
Though that may have to do with the fact that i dislike most platformers. Because I am reather bad at them.

@ Morpheel
How could anyone be bad at platformers? Especially Mario? That's like the most basic kind there is.
Then again I grew up with the original Mario so maybe I'm more used to them.

Never owned it. It was the game you see people play on the go. I know I did.

I have it in my Game Boy Color right now. Very much enjoying revisiting it — I remember Macro World freaking me out!

I am the kind of people who never lands on platforms. And if it's a moving platform then it's Never. And if I do land on the platform, I usually slide off it while frantically trying not to.
I like Wario Land 3 though, mostly because Wario can't die and appear at the start of the level again, so I feel better about failing.

Mario land 2 wasn't really known for being all that difficult. Until the final stage anyway.
Plus it's overly generous with the extra lives so there's plenty chances to try again.
Not saying you have to like platformers but you should at least give it a chance.
Maybe you've gained some skills and more patience since the last time you tried it.

I use to think the same thing then my dad decided to give SMB on the NES a try...... Yeah umm.....

Anyway if NA gets it this week I will defiantly pick this one up. I still have the cartridge but at the moment I cant find my GBA SP charger.

Yep, i had it, and was probably my favorite and most-played GB title that wasn't Tetris. An excellent Mario installment and insta-download.

I still have my original copy from when it came out, complete with box and instructions. I still don't like the game either. I just found it sluggish, and I preferred the music in the original SML.

I got it the day it came out. In fact, the girl behind the counter had to take it out of the shipping box to sell it to me. Of course I nearly went blind trying to play the game since it used to much black in the backdrops. Thankfully the SP fixed all of this years later.

Oh also for anyone who forgot this game does have an easy mode. Just press select at the save file screen.
Not that you really need it but it's there if you wanna take it easy.

Terave

I've lent it from my cousin for at least one year. It was like 4-5 years ago, if I'm correct. And.. I played the heck out of it. It was such awesome game, and even after a ridiculous amount of repeating the levels I was still enjoying it, on that little gray screen. Oh man, those were good times...
