Once I lost my favorite Villagers I stopped checking daily. There were just a few days where I didn't check and missed out on telling some of my favorites to stay, then the people that moved in were terrible. My wife even stole one of my good villagers. Now it is hard to check but I probably should lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I played for about 7 months daily, like 4-12 hours daily. I burned myself out on it. Now I mainly just clear streetpasses but new people get the game all the time and plenty of people are still playing.
"I also put a road block on myself by not donating any art to the museum, once you do that it opens up a lot of options in game."
how does that open up the game???
I think donating 20 items, at least one of every category, will let you build the museum shop (second floor). After that you can get the Roost Café community project by donating a total of 50 items.

for both you only have to donate ONE piece of art. that's what i did. bought ONE, donated it and never bought any crappy art piece again. yes i hate that 3 of the four items are fakes. no fun involved for my taste
I am just waiting for the inevitable Wii U Animal Crossing seeing as I have already put 600+ hours in New Leaf and felt I did pretty much everything there is to do. Animal Crossing in HD will be glorius if the Animal Crossing Plaza on Wii U is anything to go by!

Hey, it's a test of your art knowledge. In previous Animal Crossings, there was no way to tell if a painting is fake. In New Leaf, fake paintings have an error that can be spotted.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

Yeah, that's what I meant by 'at least one in every category'. There's a guide to see which art at Redd's is real: Click.
