I was believing, obviously wrongly, that this thread was about graphic quality comparison between 3DS and Wii, not about gameplay and/or fun. I'm quite sorry for missinterpreting the topic as well as the contents of the first post.
The 3DS is close to a portable GameCube, but I still have not seen anything as nice looking as ROGUE LEADER or even PIKMIN for that matter. I own 6 3DS titles and so far my two Capcom titles are the best looking. After playing the RE: REVELATIONS demo I am pumped for that game which looks like it will have the best graphics on the system yet. I am eager to see what Nintendo does with the system, but the more I see of KID ICARUS: UPRISING the less impressed I am.

Well obviously that isn't the case since you got totally off the track and sounded a lot more like you were bashing Nintendo for no reason. Yes, this is a thread about 3DS and Wii graphics so why you brought in a screenshot of...whatever it was, I can't remember, is beyond me. If you truly didn't intend to bash Nintendo then whatever but it really seems like that was your goal.

This isn't really at anyone in particular, just a thought I had...Its funny how with the Wii people would say how it looked like Gamecube and how little the graphics have changed. Now with 3DS graphic arguments, suddenly Wii graphics are leaps and bounds ahead of Gamecube. Its like "Well I guess the 3DS looks about on par with GC but its no where near as powerful as Wii. The 3DS's graphics are fail!" I thought the Wii and Gamecube had the same graphics?? Its like no matter what, some people's opinion is always "down with Nintendo!!

It's hard to compare anything to Pikmin because nothing similar has been released but I would say that Star Fox 64 3D and Rogue Leader show the different strengths of the systems. Star Fox has a lot less polygons on screen(but Rogue Leader was the record holder last gen and SF IS an enhanced N64 game) but it has a lot of use of shaders and enhanced graphical effects that really help the look. I think Rogue Leader looks better personally but they have different strengths.

Seems like most of the time, people follow others and don't form their own opinion. They have to repeat what the others say (sometimes majority) because if they don't say what they actually feel- hell splits open, wars starts and babies around the world cry. Well, that's a bit exaggerated.. Well, maybe not a bit.. But it's crazy.
Also- go over to IGN for the most Ironic articles you've ever seen. It looks like IGN is always trying to bring down Nintendo and their articles contradicts another and most of the time are repeated. They have no criticisms towards Sony or Microsoft (which really, they need to point some things out to be fairly fair).
One article says: 3DS Lite is too soon. A recent one says: Bringing the 3DS lite soon would be a good idea with a new name. And I think it's the same person who wrote the article. It's funny. Then the comments section is messy
