@Mach-X: I hadn't even heard about HD tv's at that point in time so why would I have cared if it was HD or not. Now HD tv's are much more common.

Nintendo holding back on its first party heavy hitters really shows how bad the majority of third party Nintendo console games are. Also, I'll say it again, as if it matters, no franchise mode.

My local Wal Mart only sold 6. They had 22 launch day.

The more I hear about the 3DS leading up to release, the less I care about it.

@James: I'd rather it be the best they can make it too, but with it not being ready for launch it just seems like Nintendo still doesn't think the shop is a key feature or it would have been done already. I agree with comment #31 Ren.

Even if that is true, it shouldn't take so long that it will be delayed. Online stuff seems to be very hard for Nintendo (or they waited til the last minute to think about online stuff).

I would say Sacred Odyssey lasts longer than Dragon Quest XI, if just for the fact Dragon Quest XI has not been made.
