@Zeebor15, Dragon slayer was invented in 1984 but eventually evolved to 'the legend of heroes' in 1989; there are 3 different worlds within this franchise: Dragon slayer, Gagharv and Trails/Kiseki. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Heroes
@Ramouz I wholeheartedly agree with you, I feel like I have wasted over £100 of hard earned cash buying flop ports and weak first party clones most notably Splatoon 3.
Huh but if you think about how old the switch actually is it's 2017 tech, how much people use tech from a decade ago on a daily basis?
It's depressing sometimes how drastically underpowered the switch actually is, I feel some games such as Xenoblade 3 would have been even better on more powerful hardware, I have literally played my switch to death ever since launch and it's starting to wear down and I'm not interested in Sony and Microsoft, I really want Nintendo release the new system next year.
Nintendo really need to make a next gen console ASAP, the current technology of the current switch models date back to 2015 tech. I got my switch controllers in 2019 and they are starting to wear down.
Also you can buy a steam deck for £345 pounds in the UK same price as Switch Oled but can play AAA+ Titles from PS5 and Xbox series consoles.
If Nintendo don't release a new console in the next two years Nintendo as a company will become obsolete.
This direct was a really bad one, there were pretty much no new triple A first party games announced, if you think about it, the switch has always had at least one big triple A Nintendo game every year since launch, this proves that the lifespan of the switch is doomed, all ninty fans can do now is save up for the next gen Nintendo hardware which will apparently cost £350.
Hopefully Splatoon 3 will get keep all the fans going until new hardware arrives.
You can listen to all Hiroyuki's, music on YouTube and MPI and Mika Kobayashi, his two most used musicians are very skilled, just imagine the endless possibilities of an entire soundtrack for Xenoblade X sequel that consists of vocals from his pool of talented singers, plus a more fleshed out story and beautiful graphics on the new hardware I'm pretty sure Nintendo could end up with a metacritic score of more than 97.
@michellelynn0976: Nintendo has to make a sequel for Xenoblade X on the next gen hardware, I played 440 hours+ on Xenoblade X during 2020-2021 and the game is by far the best Nintendo game I have ever played before and is way better than any other JRPG.
Also hire Hiroyuki Sawano again his music style has evolved a lot since 2015 and he is a really highly rated anime composer, now for some very famous anime.

Best announcement of 2024 for me, I wonder if this game is actually a Switch 2 game, as it poised to launch in 2025.
As Switch titles go, the best games so far are Trails Azure and Daybreak; with Azure being the best port.
Re: Feature: 54 Switch Ports We'd Love To See Before The Generation's Out

Re: When Does 3DS And Wii U Online Shut Down? Nintendo Online Closure Guide
This will be a very sad day for Xenoblade X, some of the skells and weapons can only be unlocked via online play also some costumes too.
Also the song Melancholia can only be heard online too.
Just hope the game gets ported to Nintendo's next gen console .
