@Razer they still had games on the Vita. Honestly, making any sort of dedicated game for the switch is going to cost resource. That's why most games aren't coming to the switch, and most companies aren't making games for it. It's not just capcom. Some teams can afford to allocate resources and money to make a lower quality version of their games for switch, but that's not the normal and don't plan on it every being.
@KingMike I think it's pretty clear it was meant to be a joke. God forbid jokes, in bad taste, or just plain bad, be barred from being inappropriate or racist. This guy is no Dave Chappell and made a dumb mistake. Hopefully, he truly feels dumb and remorseful about it.
@Toy_Link I mean most of us make jokes that we wouldn't say to clientele, customers in a staff meeting, ect. This isn't really that big of a deal, just a poor joke said at a very bad moment.
@PALversusNTSC none of that is true, when the switch came out it struggled to keep up with demand just as much as iPhone do, ps4 did and ect. Secondly the issue isnt just the demand but the fact that their one source of manufacturing comes from a country who was the epicenter of the pandemic. The switch is manufactured by the same company that does ps4, Xbox, and iPhone.
@Titfos I would love to not to, as I personally try to buy American made products when possible, even if there is a cost increase, usually it comes with a good enough quality increase that's well worth buying the chinese made product. But really, where are you getting this information. I'm making a general assumption based off of other products, but your making a statement as if it's fact based so I'd like to know where you got those numbers. It's hard for me to imagine an operation like foxxcon manufacturing in Japan or the US.
@Desrever I'm sure it'd raise the cost by more than just $50. Even Japanese made steel, VG-10,for knives, raises the price of a knife $100 compared to a Chinese made blade, and that's for similar quality steel. But your comment is a good example of what's also the issue. People act like it's solely the companies fault for things being made in China but the consumers are equally to blame. We expect or want devices at certain price point, and China allows companies to reach those prices.
@mesome713 that's not how that works. Sony was asked by Nintendo to remove the content. Nintendo would only think of sueing if Sony refused to remove the content. Dreams terms says that any copyright content will be removed at the copyright owners request.
@sandman89 to be fair it really wasn't directed towards mass audience to begin with. It's focus was always supposed to be target towards developers. It was just a hug mistake on their part to reveal sonic h in that way.
@rjejr for real tho. I was hoping labo vr was just to test the interest in VR for Nintendo. Maybe it still is. The switch already has so many awesome sensors that are under utilized. A headset with a few more sensors could be just what the switch needs for a good vr experience.
@rjejr I get where you're coming but what I said was technically it can't be enjoyable on the labo vr, which is a totally different statement than it can't play it. The game you mentioned is also a bad example because it's a totally different type of VR experience. I can totally agree that a vr game where you stand still in one room for 30 mins is completely doable on the labo vr. The labo vr was a cool novelty but was never going to get the support of a proper headset.
@TheGameSquid platinum has never self funded their games which is why they have always worked with major publishers, made games based off of pre existing ips, or have made exclusives. This kickstarter is really a way for them to, yes, get reassurance of fan interest and possible target install bases, but more importantly, for them to start self publishing their own games.
@Kr96 most western games had the western configuration on ps1 games. Ff, mgs, and many more released the western titles with the Japanese configuration, but it wasn't as you put it. It definitely is a puzzling change, but calling it dumb seems extreme. Obviously it's not that big of an issue. I own a Japanese vita, an american ps4 and ps3, and a Nintendo switch. I don't have any issues mixing up what I'm playing with. But then again both my vita and switch share the same configuration so it's basically one layout for consoles and another for handhelds to me.
@idrawrobots no, not on Playstation. Plenty of Japanese games don't switch for the western releases. Although the vast majority do, it's not a requirement. Japanese PS4s also have a setting to switch what X and O do.

Re: Review: DOOM 64 - Will Tide You Over Until DOOM Eternal Arrives On Switch
@JayJ it has a 20 hour single player, and only one 2v1 multi-player mode. How is that multi-player focused?
Re: Mario Project In PS4's Dreams Comes To A Halt For Containing "Copyrighted Material"
@Trikeboy I mean you can, just expect it to be stopped eventually. Some companies aren't as diligent as others.
Re: Mario Project In PS4's Dreams Comes To A Halt For Containing "Copyrighted Material"
@nessisonett there's plenty of crash, sonic, and other ips. It's just iconic popular characters in general. Nintendo just has a lot of those.

@rjejr the labor vr isn't technical enough to make a game like this enjoyable
