@dugan Yonder gave strange first impressions. I thought I was getting involved in a Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley experience, but I was quite wrong! I don't see me 100%ing the game. Looking for some lost groffles taxed me, and unless I run across them accidentially, they will remain lost!
@Donutsavant Yonder is definitely weird. And yes, more range on the umbrella would be great. A Halloween town sounds super cool. I only just discovered that you can warp between points!
Fiddling with The Longing. Just started Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles. It's taken a few hours to get me interested, but I'm enjoying the exploration.
I started playing Monster Hunter Stories in September, and I'm still playing it, at around 70 hours in. It rivals Fantasy Life as my most favorite 3DS game ever. There is always something to do, new gear to earn and upgrade, new monsters to slay or befriend. The gene system is clever, with new abilities monsters earn by absorbing the genes of other monsters, even those of dissimilar elements. You want to create a fire dragon that can breathe fire, throw balls of ice, has an electric breath attack, poison tail, and a sandstorm attack? Have at it!
I've picked Pocket Camp back up after having not played it for a year or so. I've been playing it every day for a month or so, and I recently bought the Anniversary Pack for $7.99. It's the first money I've spent on the game in two years of play. I feel okay about it. I've spent a ton of time in the game.
The new offerings — well, I'll have to see if they interest me. I'm not opposed to buying content that seems engaging. But like many have said, my money is mostly on the upcoming Animal Crossing in March. That will likely be a day one.

I remember Welltris from back in the 90's. And Hatris!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd August)
The New Denpa Men and Cozy Grove today. Tomorrow I'll continue The New Denpa Men, and I'm going to start Straded Sails on the Switch.

Forager! It's like crack.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 10th)
Just started Forager this morning. I get what people say about it being addictive! Two hours after quitting, I'm itching to go back.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 10th)
Finished Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles this morning. It's a hard game to recommend. It does a lot of things, but nothing especially well.
Still fiddling with The Longing. That little shade is my buddy.

Prepping to go try to beat Ganon in Breath of the Wild. He kicked my butt last time. Need more potions and upgrading some gear.
Also spending time with The Longing. That little shade is my buddy.

Re: Dr. Mario World Racks Up Two Million Downloads In Its First 72 Hours
I downloaded, played one stage, and deleted. Just seemed dull.
Played the crap out of Dragalia Lost for a while, though.
Re: It's Time to Claim Your Nintendo Account User ID for Nintendo Switch
Thanks. Got my standard. Can't imagine having trouble getting 'utopianmachine,' but good to know it's still mine.
Re: Guide: How To Kit Out Your Avatar With New Clothing In Pokémon GO
I could see myself putting down a few bucks to customize my avatar. Wouldn't surprise me to see more hairstyles available down the road, for a cost.
Re: Guide: How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon And Umbreon In Pokémon GO
Thanks for the tip! Got my first Umbreon and Espeon this evening.
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th December (North America)
When Super Mario Run comes to Android, I'll get.
