Re: PlayStation Boss Jim Ryan Says "More Acquisitions" Are Coming

@NWC I’m not a Sony fanboy. They’re headed in a bad direction too, attitude and decisions. Their games are becoming too formulaic and too cinematic. They’re definitely not doing anything great except selling systems. I own a PS5, XSX and Switch. I don’t care if you’ve been gaming longer than me or not, I doubt it.

I actually worked on Rage and it could barely be considered mediocre. For you to tout it as something even worth mentioning, shows me your bias

@NWC cmon dude. All those games are forgettable side pieces and distractions except for the BGS games. You in here trying to spit shine Rage as a proud piece of gaming.

Activisons games aren’t a big deal except for COD. The Blizzard games are primarily pc gamers not console.

A lot of talent will leave over the years if they haven’t already, games already in development might turn out well but MS has shown almost no history of being able to manage a game or studio that they got involved with after they’ve claimed success. Halo and Forza are the only ones MS has had some consistency with and those weren’t ones they got involved with after the success, Forza is just recycling same stuff every year so thats easy formula if nobody cares its the same

Re: Analyst Predicts 2024 Release Date For Next-Gen Nintendo Switch Successor

I think one of the biggest reasons for Wii U’s failure is because Nintendo rode the Wii too long. By the time Wii U hit the market, it was too late. Its power was in line with 360/PS3, with years old ports, and only 1 year away from PS4. Why would a PS3 or 360 owner have interest in that?

By 2024, hybrid consoles and ipad/mobile gaming will be even further along and we will likely be already talking about a PS5 Pro, with s PS6 not far away from that.

Re: YouTube Is Hiding The Dislike Count, Good News For Switch Online's Video Team

theGamerPad

This is a bs excuse. They’re using it to hide the publics dissatisfaction with propaganda and political lies. Keeps people the dark that the majority is upset with the agenda or narrative and keep people silent in fear of sharing an unpopular opinion (that’s actually popular) and assembling against the machine

The creators still see the dislikes, its not hidden from them, and those are the ones Youtube is claiming they are protecting from the harassment or negative opinions. Negative comments are still allowed too

YouTube will push disliked videos because it fits their narrative, but nobody will know it’s actually an unpopular video

Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Price?

@Emperor-Palpsy @Emperor-Palpsy I feel like N64 is “top-heavy” with titles. Its Top 10 or Top 20 are strong, but it falls quickly from there. The SNES is more suited for variety of quality titles (even though NOS scraped up some bottom barrel games).

I think they need more Chameleon Twist, Bomberman 64, Snowboard Kids, Rocket, Mischief Makers type stuff.

Re: Metroid Dread Staff Say They've Been Left Out Of The Game's Credits, MercurySteam Responds

theGamerPad

When I worked at Bethesda/Zenimax they usually put a deadline a few months before release or final version for when the credits were “finished”. Anyone that joined the project after that point couldn’t be added or have an incorrect spelling of their name fixed. Every project also had employees credited that actually had nothing to do with the project, thats from developers to even the receptionist or cooking staff. People (especially in QA) that worked on the game wouldn’t get credit at times because they were only on the project for a few weeks, while cooking staff or vip devs or producers got their names on everything

If someone had left the company before the credits were finalized, they were often removed from the credits (if it was realized) or they weren’t added
