I wasn't too into this one, still a really good game but the level design was pretty bad imo. However, the way Mario controlled (including the FLUDD) is better in this game than in Galaxy. It feels quicker and more responsive.

@20: I'm not going to like the gameplay regardless so I didn't comment on that. It looked exactly the same as The Conduit (or any Wii FPS) to me - clumsy and irritating. This game definitely has a visual style more suited to the Wii than The Conduit did though.

@14: And yet, as far as I'm concerned, the N64, GameCube and Wii have all been the best consoles of their generations. What does that tell you about the importance of advanced technology?

Anyway, I also agree with The Fox. There's no way that, over three years from the release of the Wii, Nintendo aren't thinking seriously about their next console.

I never played this game on 64 (my parents bought me DK64 instead), but I tried playing it on the DS a while ago and I thought the controls were awful. I played it for about twenty minutes and never touched it again.

@Adam: That's the main problem I have with JRPGs, they're too often the millionth installment in a series that I've never played. I know it hardly makes the game unplayable but it puts me off, especially since such games are so story-based
