I got caught up in the hype of this game and preordered it so I didn’t miss the discount. To be brutally honest I didn’t expect to like it that much but I can’t put it down. I’ve fallen asleep thinking about it, woken up thinking about it, taken my switch to work to play it. It has me completely and utterly hooked. When I die I think “stupid game” and I start straight in on a new run. Awesome.

I’m probably 6-8 hours in and haven’t noticed anything that’s worried me. Seems like a non issue

I'm playing dead cells, which I didn't expect to like so much but it has me completely hooked, and also Quake Champions on PC

Bought but never fully played on wii-u, intending to go back to it at some point (which I never did). I would love it on my switch but it's the price I have an issue with. It cost me £18 on wii-u. I could live with £25 but not £35

I’d love this on switch but not going to pick it up until a price drop. Own it on Wii-U and think the price I paid on there (£18) is about right

I played the demo and don’t think it’s for me. I can see how it can appeal but it just didn’t click.

Not something that’s for me I don’t think but I’ll certainly give it a spin on release.

@JaxonH too expensive though ! I have a GPD Win 1 and would love the 2 but the price is stupid for the specs. There are Win10 tabs with identical specs for 50% of the price ! Anyway just a note, be wary of the sandisk fit range, some of them run super hot and I mean too hot to touch hot. Good luck with it anyway, I’ll probably get one when there’s a price drop.

Happy to see that official charging stand. I think I’ll be picking one of those up, although it doesn’t seem to be on my local amazon as yet.

These posts are just fodder for the guys that like to diss a game because of the technical numbers, not how it plays. I much preferred doom on my switch than my Xbox because the console suits me better. I have Wolfenstein on my Xbox one S I only paid 12gbp for it but I can’t get into it. The exact same thing happened with Doom. Couldn’t get into it on Xbox, loved it on Switch. Tech specs don’t always matter if it plays well. Horses for courses. I haven’t picked this particular game up yet as I have a bajillion games in my backlog already so I’m hoping to find it sub 40gbp somewhere down the line, which I’ll be happy to pay.

Always intended to get this on release day but I picked it up for Xbox a few weeks back for £12. I would love it on my switch as I’ve enjoyed doom loads more than I did on Xbox but I can’t face paying £50 vs £12 even for the gyro and the convenience. I’ll wait to pick it up at maybe £30-something as I have loads in my backlog anyway.

Everything that I loved about PSP Lumines plus now it has HD Rumble. Absolutely sublime. Loving it so much !

I bought this today as I'm a proper FPS whore and i'm really happy there's something for switch where I can play a deathmatch game. The game itself is very smooth and everything looks great. I do have issues with the menus and everything else though. I know it's early access but the menus and overall responsiveness of things (except for the game iteself) are awful.

More axiom verge for me plus trying to finish Doom and also playing the awesome Thumper which I picked up because it’s half price at the moment.

Got it for £10.97 from the Norway eShop after using some gold points I had. Really excited to try this game.

Bought this on wii u for £18. Played it a fair bit and loved it but as much as I’d like it on switch, I’m unsure about buying twice

Adored this game on PSP and played it easily 10x more than everything else put together. Still playing it these days via an emulator on my gpd win handheld and I still love it so I cannot wait for this - I just hope it’s sensibly priced.

I just noticed that this is now around £3.60 on the Norwegian eShop. Gotta be worth a bash for that, surely ?

I must be the only one that doesn't care about the box art. I haven't seen any of my switch cases since I took the cartridges out of them. I keep the cartridges in a multi cartridge case and the boxes are put away in case of resale. That said it's a nice thing for them to provide and I can't wait for the game to arrive...

I’m pretty excited at this, especially considering the price point. I hope it plays ok.

My most played game on PSP by a long way. I’m excited that it’s a remaster and not a new game as neither Lumines II nor Lumines on Vita never quite hit the highs of the first one and added to that to use the HD rumble in time with the music will (hopefully) be amazing.

I’ve been dividing my time between Wonderboy (up to 4th Boss), DKCTF (2nd boss) and Lumo (just reached the Cauldron level) Made good progress on all three.
