I hadn't ever played this before but tried it last night for 20 minutes. It's definitely not a wacky Mario game, as mentioned, but it's a serviceable golf game.
I really don't care too much about graphical fidelity all that much, but yeah, if I had extra cash and it made it worthwhile for other games, then sure.
It's sooooo hard to decide. Is it the generation that introduced the most iconic series (NES)? The one that offered the most console innovation (Wii/DS)? The one that lets you play all the classic games AND modern classics (Switch)? Every Nintendo generation has offered something awesome. Personally, I'd have to go with SNES for its sheer amazing library and number of upper-echeclon games (A Link to the Past, Super Mario World, Super Metroid).
@BloodNinja Dude, Zelda 2 is even more difficult than the original IMO. Those early Dragon Warriors can be difficult too. The cool thing is that they were actually still pretty cool games, just required a guide!
The original Legend of Zelda is a great game to this day, and it was the first Zelda I played (I'm old) but I don't recommend starting with it for any modern gamer. It's non-handholdy to the point of just being straight-up insane. If you want to start "early" with Zelda, go with A Link to the Past.
I've had the game for a little over two years. I play it probably every couple weeks, sometimes for hours, sometimes just for 20 minutes. Never gets old.

Not crazy about the art, but the music slaps.

Zelda vibes without out-and-out copying everything about Zelda, and with a unique art style. Intrigued!

Re: Feature: Hot Zelda: Link To The Past Takes From '90s Game Mags, 30 Years Later
Okay, I kind of want to go back to those times when magazines were all we had. Oh, the simplicity.

Always looking for games to play with my family. Might check it out — hope they make a demo available at launch.
Re: Japanese Charts: Kirby And The Forgotten Land Retains The Top Spot
Makes sense to me. Game rules. Def would love a sequel in the same vein.
Re: Review: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - A Triumphant Return To A Galaxy Far, Far Away
I'm a fan of the entire saga, so I'm definitely interested. I like the new perspective too.
Re: UK Charts: Kirby And The Forgotten Land Holds Strong At Number One
Kirby is really fun and charming, with a good variety of worlds and powers. Total recommend.
