This is my favorite 3D Sonic game, and one of the few reasons I liked the Gamecube. I don't really think it's fair to take points off for not overhauling the entire game graphically, when a port was all it needed. Six is too low in my opinion.
A normal WiiMote weighs about 0.3 lbs which is approximately 5 ounces. One troy ounce of gold can cost about $1K or more depending on the amount of karats. Gold is also denser than plastic and therefore has more mass per unit volume than plastic. If Nintendo were to sell WiiMotes made of pure gold for an extra $20, they'd probably be selling at a loss.
I'm glad Nintendo made the Wii. Now when my family sends me off to the old folks home in about 70 years, I'll still be able to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl on their Wii.
Sega poured all their development for E3 into the console versions. It's pretty obvious little work was put in the the 3DS E3 demo. The classic version of Green Hill Zone is a direct rip of the layout from Sonic 1. At one point in Sonic 1 you fly off a ramp and into a group of rings in the sky. If you wanted to get all of them you'd have to hit a near by badnik for more air time. In the E3 demo, Sonic uncurls at this section, making him unable to hit the badnik. That was really disappointing to see. Hopefully the 3DS version will get a lot more attention, but at this point, it'll probably just be a cash in.
I was born in 95 and we would get Genesis games that my grandpa who would buy them at the pawn shop. We had a copy of Sonic 2 with the sticker completely torn off. My cousin and I would pull the game out of the system and laugh when it froze up. I would always get scared at the second level of Chemical Plant Zone where the acid rises up and drowns Sonic. My lives would quickly dissolve away when I'd get to Mystic Cave. I had a lot of trouble with that level. And I think I only got to Oil Ocean once.
Unfortunately, our Genesis died, and our grandparents who failed to predict the coming of eBay, though that we'd never find a working Genesis again and gave all our games to my cousin's older sister. She then married, moved to Wyoming, put all the games in storage, and went with her husband to several different countries on business purposes and is rarely ever home. I now have a working Genesis with all four classic Sonic games, and Sonic 2 is my favorite game of all time.
The SSBB version of Skyworld is actually the music for the Overworld level of Kid Icarus, and the Skyworld level music from Kid Icarus isn't remixed in Brawl.
One year my brother and I got a PS2 for Christmas. At the time I had no interest in the PS2 library so my parents got me two random games they though I would like. They got me SpongeBob SquarePants: Curse of the Flying Dutchman and Scooby Doo Night of 100 frights. They were ok and all but I traded them both in at a store for Super Smash Bros on the N64.
Well, if he's into swimming then I suspect a water based character. My guess is they'd look like a human but could breathe underwater. Underwater levels can have a lot of detail to them. Plus we haven't seen a big underwater IP in a while. (Still waiting for Ecco 3 btw)
Maybe Iwata is also hinting at 2 3D cameras, one on the front of the system and another on the back. That would be cost more though, and it would be pointless

Looks great, though!

@SuperLink SMB, Metroid, Zelda and Zelda 2.
Re: North American NES Ambassador Games Announced
Only 4 of these games are worth actually paying money. See Nintendo's strategy here?

I feel sorry for Japan, but I can't imagine America doing much better.

Re: Nintendo Will Announce Wii U Release Date Next Year
I hope they take it slowly. I don't want the Wii U launching prematurely and being out shined by Sony and Microsoft again in terms of horsepower.

I stopped after LEGO Star Wars. After playing the first two games on the PS2 and then the remake on the Wii, I couldn't take anymore.
