They should have put Arkham Origins in the trilogy instead. It would have run way better and I personally actually like Origins more than Knight anyway.
Nah, Charles Martinet is Wario. BUT if they absolutely had to get a celebrity to voice him, which they 100% will, I think Danny DeVito would be a decent choice.
@Iconoclysm You would think, but apparently the technology has been around for decades and was even in the Sega Dreamcast controller back in 1998 but it's still rarely used in today's controllers. I guess the few extra pennies it would cost these companies to use hall effect sticks would bankrupt them, lol.
@Gamer_Griff Yeah, same. I've used around 10 pairs of Joy Cons over the years and ALL of them got drift, some worse than others. I love Nintendo and I can excuse most of the stuff people find annoying about them but Joy Con drift is one thing I can't excuse. It has been so infuriating. And from what I've heard Playstation and Xbox controllers have had issues with drift as well, though not nearly as prevalent. Hall effect joysticks should be the industry standard.
This sketch actually did make me watch Nirvanna the Band the Show and I absolutely loved it. I'm also very annoyed that the third season, which apparently was mostly filmed, will likely never be released.
As a lifelong Monkey Island fan this is devastating. He had such an amazing voice and he made LeChuck equal parts menacing and comedic. Rest in peace Earl.
I knew this would happen as soon as they announced it would be a My Nintendo Store exclusive. Otherwise I could have just pre-ordered it at Gamestop with relative ease like the last couple XC collector's editions.

I'm a huge Monkey Island fan and I would actually be disappointed if this game looked like the first two. Curse is my favorite art style and I would love a return to that. But I'm just happy the franchise is back from the dead finally. And I don't dislike the new art style either.
As someone who was introduced to this franchise with Curse of Monkey Island, the LAST thing I want is a return to the pixel art of the first two games. I understand, nostalgia is a powerful drug. But let's be honest, Monkey Island 1 and 2 are not the prettiest games in the world. I would love if the series could return to the beautiful hand-drawn art style of Curse, but this new art style is the next best thing in my opinion. But at the end of the day I'm just happy we're even getting a new Monkey Island game at all. For years now I thought this franchise was dead for good, especially after Disney bought Lucasfilm. I'm just so happy that one of my all time favorite video game series has returned!

Just recently replaced the sticks in my Joy Cons with hall effect sticks. I wish I had them years ago. Hopefully drift is a thing of the past.
