I've gamed since 1991. If Nintendo makes it to where I can't play even so much a single player game by cartridge, without being part of their online service. I will totally admit that gaming is dead. I remember seeing a gaming forum predicting that would happen in 2001. I do not want to pay online, I can game just fine offline. It's my oldest hobby. I will be happy with single player. But as the saying goes nothing lasts forever
