Re: Every Nintendo Switch Online N64 Game Ranked

I’ve spilled a TON of hours into Banjo Kazooie. Being that it’s the first time back on a Nintendo console, it’s easily my number one. Yes, the Zelda 64 games are incredible icons in Nintendo history, but truly I’d rather have the 3DS polished upgrades around since we’ve been able to play the 64 versions for the most part on all systems since the came out. Shout out to those with the Zelda Collector’s Disc on GameCube!

I’ve already gotten my 90s dream of Banjo Kazooie so I’m already happy and love anything new! I truly have no clue who it could be! I feel like we’ve gotta go back in house with a full Nintendo character…

I feel like Geno would be fire (though I personally do not care for the puppet,) Waluigi would make sense and be simple enough… However, we REALLY could use a solid Zelda addition.

As we’re getting closer to Breath of the Wild 2, maybe a crazy FOUR character (down special) moment of the champions? I’d prefer Skull Kid but I’m just old lol.

SO EXCITED! I have a feeling the series will pivot intensely once Ultimate has settled. Stronger focus on costumes, less characters, etc etc. This id gonna be a huge moment.

Re: Soapbox: Let 2018 Be The Year The Third-Party Exclusive Takes Over On Nintendo Switch

Most importantly these 3rd party exclusives need to take advantage of the unique hardware at hand with the Switch. While I’d love to see GTA5 or Star Wars: Battlefront II on my portable perfection, there’s little chance that will happen. Something that takes advantage of the bite-sized, pick up and play nature of the switch and doesn’t focus on the graphical weaknesses is the only way we’ll get there.

I think back on the days of the DS where I had Star Wars: Episode III on my PS2 and DS. Completely different games, (neither close to perfect in 2005) but both were fun cool experiences. The PS2 version had movie clips and an awesome fighting mode. The DS had a very SNES approach with challenege and a unique starship multiplayer that was very entertaining at the time. We don’t need uniform experiences, just something. Also, taking advantage of
motion controls isn’t always a bad thing when done right. (Lightsaber, finally?)
