In China, AI is broadly popular, because it is treated as people-first infrastructure. They have fewer data centers, way more solar energy generation, and a people-over-profit government.

AI was never the problem, it's that on this continent and an alarming chunk of the rest of the world, it's profit-over-people. So AI is used for that purpose, while artists are encourage to do the temporarily-embarrassed-millionnaire thing and whine about AI "theft" as if all creativity doesn't draw from what came before.

Things that look rad: Kirby and the World Beyond, Metal Slug Collection, how Proto Man plays with the Captain America tricks, Metroid Ravenous (which is likely Metroid 6), Eternal Anima.

Things that might be rad: Romancing SaGa 3 remake, classic tracks in MKW, Star Fox multiplayer stuff.

Things that I have no knowledge of such things about: Tokyo Revengers, so having them show up in CotW to fight Cristiano Ronaldo is cool I guess.

Dread was rad and Prime 4 was rad. I'm ready for Ravenous.

I want a direct sequel to Secret of Mana aka Seiken Densetsu 2. Aka, a direct sequel that is in the same world, featuring much of the same cast, after the events of the first game with the Mana Fortress' destruction. Not Seiken Densetsu 3; Seiken Densetsu 2-2.

It's not that complicated. Or likely, but that's why I said my wishlist is unrealistic.

I'd want a wired version, not a wireless one.

If I had money to burn I think I'd want the original consoles, but even then I'd want them all HDMI modded because I hate CRTs and have always hated CRTs despite growing up with them in the 80s and 90s.

And at that point I think I'd rather just burn the money on something FPGA-based that runs roms and lacks any cartridge/CD slots.

And even THEN, only with money to burn. Because despite claims to the contrary, modern emulation is good enough.

I played FF14 for a year. I had a good time and played with some lovely people. Ultimately, the game made me miss World of Warcraft. I much prefer the shorter GCD, the tighter-feeling controls, and the storytelling in WoW. BUT I hope FF14 does well no matter where it ends up.

When someone extracts the ROM this can be played properly on a good emulator.

Goldman looks pretty but the demo plays like if Shovel Knight sucked.
