I'm a giant dufus. I saved over my initial character where I downloaded the starter pack. Now, I can't download the pack for this character. Am I screwed and have to wait for the DLC quests? I'm only concerned about the super mushrooms. The other stuff I don't mind crafting.
I never finished this MM. It's not that I hated it, I just never could get into it. I felt like I was repeating so much of the game. Given the storyline, I suppose that's the point. It just didn't do it for me.
The game looks horrible. It is true that I've never played it and I can say that I never will. Am I being fair to a game I haven't experienced? Yes. There is nothing redeeming about this game that I've seen. Even if it worked well, which apparently it doesn't. No one should support this game or this douchenozzle.
You really should take most studies that have polarizing viewpoints with a grain of salt. I think this is especially true for topics that politicians are "passionate" about. It's interesting how, one study will show the exact opposite of another. Often, studies can be set up so that you can get the results you want or already believed. The politician in CA who wanted to fine video game stores for the selling M rated games to minors had a study that confirmed that violent video games begat real world violence. This brought a lot of parents on board. I think it is a giant heap of malarkey, of course.
Unrelated, but full of karma, he got arrested for fraud. I guess he played a lot of EVE Online.
I loved the Cereberal Bore in the second game. I remember trying to get through the first section of the first level in the first game. I had two friends with me at college trying to get at least to the first save point. Of course, this didn't matter as I didn't have the save cartridge at the time. Regardless, we couldn't get very far to need it. A lot of falling, murder, and frustration was had that night. I still remember the animation if you hit them in the neck. (More accurately, the random death animation if you hit them at all.) Still enjoyed the game. Rage Wars, not so much.

Oh well. I am, however, ready for MH4.

Re: Alone In The Dark is Set for Yet Another Comeback
This is the only game I've ever sold back. I finished it and was disappointed throughout. God help you if you made it to the forklift level.
I loved the setting, though. The game had some great concepts, but beyond horrid execution. The original PC version was so much better.
Re: Night Trap ReVamped Developer May Flip-Flop on its Wii U Decision
Why would you choose to reboot this of all the games out there? This was terrible when it was released.
Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Forty Nine
I love that Galaga one! Brilliant!
Re: Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition Releasing on 19th June in North America
I loved this game. I remember thinking that I had never played anything like it at the time. Brilliant game! I probably will get this.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Twenty Two
I will be burning the midnight oil with:
Mass Effect 3
Black Ops 2
Monster Hunter 3U
SMT4
There's not enough time in the day for my games and my family. Screw sleep, then.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Twenty Two
@rjejr - It took me six hours to get out of Colony 9. I clocked in about 120 hours playing that game. Enjoy!
