Today has brought us the first Mario Kart 8 DLC pack, which is no doubt being eagerly played around the world already. With tracks, characters and vehicles incorporating F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda and Excitebike alongside other fun new tracks, it delivers a terrific expansion to the racer.

Naturally plenty will be heading online and hoping to get picks of the new tracks, but we've decided to make things a little easier with a Tournament that is exclusively new tracks; it's also open right now.

As the Tournament reboots every week we've applied a 32 race limit, just so each week someone will be able to claim the crown as 'winner'. Nevertheless, there's nothing to stop you completing more races throughout the week that won't count towards your score.
