I honestly hate mobile gaming. My phone is to call family and friends not to play a game of Mario kart. If Nintendo honestly did this they would fail hard. I’m sure they wouldn’t go down this failtastic route considering how good the switch is doing.
I’m starting to give up with Nintendo. This year has been almost identical to the Wii U, apart from the obvious failure of the console, but game wise it’s the same magical flamingos. Oh we can’t bring this to the switch for this reason, or it’s delayed for that reason. Being a Nintendo fan is tough work.
I bought it in the sale in the uk. Big mistake, if you’re on the fence about this game then honestly buy something else. Go and buy bubsy 3D...that game is better than this pile of trash.
I’m not suprised. They have been poor for many years now. The good old days of Squaresoft were in my opinion Squares best days. FF13 was a truly horrendous game when compared to any FF game from FF9 backwards. I think they’ve lost their touch and aren’t truly connected or committed to what gamers actually want anymore. Octopath traveller was a great start, but the story and characters weren’t very good.
The Nintendo switch online is very much a farce. They’ve made us pay for something that adds nothing new to the actual online of the switch. This proves it really, devs still don’t give a brave stimulating shampoo about the online. Nintendo are so far behind it’s not even funny anymore.
This is where digital gaming falls flat on its face. If I want an older game on a console I can go and buy it second hand physically. Can you imagine when everything is digital only? So an old game will still be 40+ on a consoles digital store and if these devs want to take the older game down to make way for the new one then they can, as this example proves. Once physical games go completely I fear for gaming.
I used to think Reggie was cool, but lately he appears to be losing his touch. 1 of 2 things is happening here. Either he is just losing his touch and has no idea what we want anymore, or he’s being pressured by Nintendo of japan to lie out of his arse about how Nintendo does things ‘differently’ and so in doing this he is revealing that he has no actual power in his position. Either way it sucks that Nintendo are so gosh darn blind to their mistakes and they’re as arrogant as ever.
