@SubZer023

They said they were working on Circle Pad Pro support in an interview with Nintendo Everything.

I'd also be happy if it had a 'VS Bots' mode. With CTF, etc. Anyway I'm so excited!

@strongest_link

I figured it was rare, but dang, from your comment I'm amazed it didn't take them longer to make the engine...

Hey, there's some sort of misunderstanding among us all, is this a TPS or a FPS? Because Gears Of War was TPS, right? But some people are saying FPS... I hope it's a TPS and the character has really cool armor. ^–^

Re: Review: Escape From Zombie City (3DS eShop)

@DavidHolliss

It's $3.99 on the NA eShop. I've no idea as to a European release. Also, it has a 4½/5 Customer Rating

@Kaze_Memaryu

I Agree. Still, a 6 is above average.

@Gioku

I'll probably wait for a sale. Although I don't know if there'll be one, considering it's already under $5.00. . .

Re: Soapbox: The Wii Changed The Face of Gaming, Before The Console Industry Promptly Forgot Its Lessons

WinterWarm

As a whole I'm unhappy with where the market seems to be heading. Microtransactions and other annoyances have started to creep in. I don't mind DLC, hell, I love it, but microtransactions, paying to unlock areas, lives, items, it's just cheap.

WiiU- $249.00

PS4- $400.00

XboxOne- $500.00

Consoles, however, are far from cheap. The 'gaming' industry is split right now because you've a a half-grand Xbox and a free phone app on opposite sides of the scale. It didn't used to be this way, and since the average gamer( in US, only, I think I remember hearing), is 32, obviously they remember the good old days when consoles were for video games and phones were so large they were bricks that doubled as a way to talk to people.

That's another area where the industry's split: gaming ages.

Huge debate, hell, the state of Texas debated banning M-rated games for minors. Developers( of course not all) aim their 'Mature' games at minors. 'M for Mature, 17 and up'. Now, just pointing this out, the age difference between the average (US?) gamer and what some developers are targeting their Mature games toward is over 13 years. 13 YEARS.

So you've an adult and a minor, both having specific games developed for their specific ages, until a company wants to be 'the' developer, so they just try to make M-rated games appeal to more people. And sometimes the appeal is just insane. Someone was hit in the head with a brick, stabbed, and then had their GTA V copy stolen from them. Granted, this isn't a common event, but it still happened. And then you've got the surefire way to sell copies, what is it, you ask? Why, sex appeal, of course! GTA, Duke Nukem, South Park Dead Or Alive, Saint's Row, Senran Kagura, are all very... Well versed in this aspect. And, hey, if you're an adult, then it's fine. it's your choice, but when the developer uses this 'appeal' to get minors interested? They've crossed the line, pure and simple.

And there you've got the Big 3. Nintendo tries to be family-friendly, while Sony and Microsoft are for generally more mature audiences.

And when you dig deeper you find 13 years difference in audiences playing the same game, microtransactions, cheap gimmicks, and people who are just trying to have some fun without having to right this long comment like I did.

Happy Gaming? Not yet.

I'd be perfectly fine with 30 FPS with 3D and 60 with none. I'm also very relieved to here they're not graphic junkies, and are actually focusing on smart AI, don't get me wrong, I love fantastic graphics, but I don't want to watch a beautifully realistic grenade slowly turn and tumble because of horrible frame-rate.

As for controls, I'll probably use the face buttons. One thing I like about this game already is the action 'style,' in the barely view-able picture they released, I saw a person hip-shooting. Hopefully that means bullets will fly all over in a wonderful, chaotic battlefield. Also, I'm eagerly awaiting to see if maybe online will be in there, that would make it irresistible. As it is they already have a copy in the bag.

@Keep Indeed, it'll be interesting to see how much this costs, they've really gone all out. My estimate's, $7-15.00.

Even Local Play would be epic. All you UK folks with your StreetPass area next year at the Expo.

Re: Repairing a 2DS Screen Costs $65 Plus Shipping in North America

WinterWarm

Well, not too bad... Here's my story:

After my screen first when dark( I got it fixed, my 3DS was warranted), Nintendo said it'd cost $40. And the screen wasn't even broken, it just had a connection malfunction.

So, considering that's for a not even broken screen and the 2DS screen is singular and is the same size as two 3DS screens, I think 2DS repair might be cheaper.

Re: Feature: A Supersonic History of Sonic Cartoons

WinterWarm

I'm a huge Sonic X fan. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy( best! ), and more made it an amazing show. The second season was the best. My brothers and I ALL watched this show every Saturday morning... Even my oldest brother, who was then 21. XD Of course in the beginning I didn't know what was going on haha. After a few years though I'd be shouting 'Hey it's the ghost episode!' in which Amy gets demon possessed. I loved it, still do. What a great series, I need to watch it again. It was a perfect blend of action, realism( well, realism when you're six), and emotion. Chris's friendship with Sonic, the Sonic and Knuckles Rivalry, Sonic and Amy, government agents, the President, Chris's wacky butler and in the finale, where it acknowledges time really does speed by, just like Sonic.

It's still in syndication...
