@Maulbert different strokes for different folks I guess, personally the gamecube controller is my all time favourite because it just fits my hands perfectly, although do agree the Z button is awful.
@Cobalt honestly you are the worst commenter I have seen on this site, you literally have a problem with everything and when someone questions your flawed arguments, you resort to calling them children. I think we all know who the immature person is here...
@Cobalt I loved Wind Waker HD but it added no substantial content just made sailing quicker and added a bloom effect/lighting system and upped the resolution. Many would argue the game doesn't actually look better and that it betrays the art style of the original (not me, I think it's look great but seen a lot of people say it). I just feel you are moving the goalposts to suit your argument in terms of ports but each to their own. I sold my Wii U due to a lack of games that appeal to me so I could get a PS4 but wouldn't think of getting rid of my Switch. Different strokes for different folks in the end I guess haha
@Cobalt I mean if you want to go from your mindset, let's go through them Wii U games.
Zelda the Windwaker HD - a gamecube port Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - a wii port New Super Mario/Luigi U - basically the same game we had twice once on ds and once on wii Super Mario 3D World - imo the worst 3d Mario after Sunshine, glorified version of a 3ds game Zombi U - a game eventually ported to every other system
And the third party releases listed are a 3ds port, a third game in a series when the first two weren't even on the system and Deus Ex which came out after other consoles if I remember correctly (happy to be corrected).
Will give you the rest but don't think we will ever agree haha don't take this as me having a go, we just enjoy different things. The only thing I question is the constant negativity, maybe try to look on the bright side every now and then 🙂
@Cobalt May want to check the list of top quality first part games that Nintendo released on other systems in the same time frame to show this is typical of Nintendo, they can't pull games out of thin air. The Wii U never had many anyway especially in the first year , the Wii was full of shovelware from the start , the Gamecube launched with Luigis mansion and had what Mario Sunshine? Which is by far the worst 3d Mario game (based on initial reviews and not nostalgia). The N64 by this point has Super Mario 64, Starfox and Mario Kart? Think you may have set your own expectations a little high for Nintendo and your own personal taste in video games.
@Cobalt I can't believe how you criticise someone for being a know all when I see you on multiple articles saying that the Switch has no quality games and portray it as some kind of fact. As well, since you were there for the NES launch surely this means you are a full grown adult, which surprises me considering all you do is moan about the Switch. Maybe just take a step back from the Switch if it makes you so miserable and buy a different system.
@Anti-Matter played the newer version of this while in Japan, was pretty awesome. Strangely enough they still have one of the old machines at a local arcade where I live in England.
I think the best game Ubisoft could port to the Switch would be RS: Siege. With the lack of online focused first person shooters on the system, I think it would sell well and to be honest I think with the right team on the job, could be ported without losing too much in terms of graphics. Think the only issue would be party chat, but as Fortnite has shown this can be done through the game.
With PES, MGS and Castlevania, Konami own three of my favourite game franchises so would love any of those. Would be incredible to play MGS 5 on the go. Without a doubt my favourite PS4 game.
A really good beat em up and to be honest probably the best I've ever played in terms of the gameplay but nothing beats Streets of Rage 2 overall for me personally , the presentation and soundtrack in particular are timeless.
