If you say so, buddy. The comments people are making speak for themselves. Go read them and read them again and then maybe stop being a doodyhead and you'll be able to see how incredibly ridiculous some of these reactions are.
I love how not being an entitled child is automatically "Nintendrone! Nintendo Defense Force! Nintendo Fanboy!" Maybe not everyone looks for every reason to be upset.
Seriously though, anyone who isn't happy, there's a few games I'd be pretty stoked to have passed on. Maybe you can get a good feeling out of hooking someone else up if you're not going to be satisfied with any of the options.
Alls I'm sayin' is if there's a gold member out there who's just going to pass it up, how about pass it on. Wouldn't mind a hook up of Metroid or Donkey Kong 3.
Icing on the cake? That free copy of Donkey Kong Returns 3D gave me the 40 coins I was shy of Platinum for 2015. Can't wait to do this again next year.
Ehhhhh maaaayyybe? I do have Cave Story so five bucks off is nice, but it's going to be broken on release. Maybe I'll see what the all around word is and go from there.
Uh, nothing. I'm waiting for the first Denpa Men to go on sale so I can dive into the series beyond the demos. Grinsia is gonna just end up being an impulse buy whenever it happens.
Doesn't matter to me what they do. It'll be good. The handheld side of Nintendo always works out as nothing short of fantastic. I'm looking forward to a few more years of enjoying the 3DS and then when it's time to move on it'll be a move worth making.
Everyone was super content and happy before yesterday. "Oh wow, 30 bucks (sorry not US people, I know you suffer the higher prices) and it's ten courses totaling 126 holes. That's pretty good, compares to previous titles well." Then the DLC pops up, the game is still 30 bucks and ten courses and 126 holes and if you're super duper into the game, you can get six more courses (108 holes, plus four characters) to expand on it for not too bad of a price, I was expecting 3-4 bucks for one course. But no. Yesterday's content is tomorrow's complaint. "I had this game preordered but I cancelled it cause I already knew there would be DLC (nobody ever said when) and the game I thought I was getting is what I'd be getting. But no! Nintendo is evil suddenly!" But hey, it'll be cool in August when Smash Bros comes out, right? Nintendo's not so evil anymore, right? "That was three months ago, surely it's okay to support the same company that I was protesting against before."
Lemme stir this cauldron. Ohhohohohoho. What do I need for this concoction. Sugar? Spice? Everything nice? Oh no I'm out of everything nice. Can't find that anywhere online. I know what to do. I've got the two ingredients that will surely cover for the lack of everything nice. A splash, just a splash, of entitlement. Oh that will add a bitter element, layers of flavor are important in a dish. But to pull it all together, a bit of hypocrisy surely will do the trick. Yess, yessss. This is turning out better than I expected. I must stir. Stirrrrrrr.
There's always so much to complain about, no matter the situation. This game could be 20 bucks, come with all that evil DLC already as part of the game, offer free DLC every two weeks for a full year, and people will complain about how Nintendo is hurting their bandwidth cap and how it's Nintendo's fault they don't have a bigger memory card to hold all these downloads.
Ocarina of Time would have been great. Like someone from before said, I'd like to have all of the LoZ games available on my LoZ XL but I can't get myself to pick up OoT for 40 bucks.
I did it, and then it just felt like something I would do at a friend or a friend would do at me just to get a reaction. Actually I can see me doing it at a random stranger. I like reactions.
Are you sure that's enough said, skulkap? You said it was enough earlier but then you said more. I'm only asking because I don't want to wait for more to be said if nothing is coming.
Think it's a genius move. Get the 3DS release out sooner, put all the focus into making the Wii U version as great as can be. People who were only going to get the Wii U version seem to be saying they might jump on the 3DS version as well now. I don't think "Winter 2014" means after 22 December, I think it just means during the holiday season. Even if it were the last week of the year, that can still sell holiday consoles in anticipation of the upcoming release. And really, people who were going to buy a Wii U for Smash Bros aren't changing their minds. Maybe a few cause people gotta hate, people gotta be stubborn, but most of them aren't changing their intent.
3DS version looks fantastic, by the way. Loved those stages.

Perception is reality. If you come across as "entitled" you'll be labeled as such.

@SonataAndante You did good. It's okay to be disappointed. You're taking it like a pro.
Re: Nintendo Goes Download-Only With The 2014 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards
@piojito_O They'd never do straight eShop credit. That lets people buy non-Nintendo made games on their dime.
Also CN is gonna be hit and miss for at least today due to all the elite traffic.

I have a confession to make...
I...
Oh gosh this is so hard....
I buy video games for the super secret pin code inside so I can be part of the super secret cool kids clubs.
Why is the bonus free thing I get after getting normal free things not good enough.
Why Nintendo.
Why do you hate me!!!

Feels like I see a lot of this today.

Super proud of Nintendo and hope they keep it up.

I know it's just SMB3 but I'm in heaven playing this on my 3DS. Best Mario game there ever was.
