@NintendoNaut @moomoo Well, Most of the text aside from monster names was in english, and I doubt voice acting is going to take a year. Seeing as localization is taking place alongside development, it wouldn't be too farfetched to say that they probably just decided to use the same footage worldwide. Until they say it's been delayed, I think 2014 is still a safe bet.

Every article like this puts me one step closer to selling my Wii U and putting the money towards a gaming PC.

Some people aren't getting the whole PARTIAL repayment part. As in Nintendo gets the patents AND the rest of the money. Also, hopefully this will discourage some patent trolls(ILife) but probably not.

I love the anime(I think it's getting a second season soon), so I'm really hoping this gets localized. Doubtful though.

@Bass_X0 Like I said, I don't download games like that to begin with. but if you must know, mostly indie titles, DLC, and some apps. My card is 2GB, and I'm not going to delete any of my games or DLC as I already paid for and have beaten them, and I'd rather not lose the data.

@Olaf-symbiote While I prefer physical to digital, that's not the only reason. I simply don't have the space on my SD card for it, and I'm not buying a new one any time soon.

Really. All about the family again I see. I specifically remember Iwata saying back at like e3 2012 that the Wii U would offer strong single player experiences. I also remember him saying more mature experiences. Well, guess it's pretty obvious now that he was lying. I'm getting tired of being laughed at for owning a Wii U anyway, think it's time for me to move on. The idiots on Miiverse aren't really much of an incentive to stay either.

@aj_fowl My eighteen and nineteen year old cousins are considering buying a Wii U, and they're pretty much textbook dudebros. So not all adult gamers have made up their minds, and not alll dudebros hate Nintendo. @KingofSaiyans Which is why I said hopefully. As in hopefully they'll decide to market the more mature games as well.

If they want the Wii U to succeed, Nintendo needs a management overhaul. Iwata just comes off as stubborn and either ignorant or cocky(can't tell which) these days. Not to mention the fact that they have like zero marketing in the US. That being said I have a Wii U and I'm probably going to buy a PS4 when I get the money. As for Xbox One....well, in the words of Dr.Seuss, I wouldn't touch it with a....39 and a half foot pole.

Everything could be potentially misused. Taking away a service isn't going to stop crap. All you're doing is alienating everyone who did nothing wrong. I've been a Nintendo fan all my life.but with all this BS recently, I've been SERIOUSLY considering getting a PS4. At least I wouldn't be hearing "OH, BUT THE CHILDREN!!!" and "think of the children," every five seconds.

@ShikabaneHime13 The 3DS also has a block feature. The parents should be monitoring their child's activites, and, if they're too young to know how, block the offenders. If the kid's a teen, they'll be smart enough to block the adult on their own. I also remember reading in the user agreement that Nintendo has the power to disable the online features of a specific 3DS. So that would've also been an option. @faint I'm aware that you're being sarcastic, but when did I alude to being treated cruelly?

Great. Another instance of "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!111!" They're kids. They're stupid. They're going to do stupid things. The parents are obviously equally stupid by letting their kid do it. So now this app is pretty much pointless. Thank god it didn't cost money.

I couldn't care less about karaoke, but this is just annoying. "Oh noez, they said a word in a song that the kid has probably already heard before if they're over ten years old. Time to freak out and put this on news sites and contact Nintendo!" Then people wonder why Sony and Microsoft fanboys label Nintendo as a kiddie company. It's because of crap like this. Now Nintendo's going to take down this service, like they do with everything else that isn't suitable for the average eleven-year-old.

@rjejr It doesn't make much of a difference to me. I haven't used Nintendo video in a year, and I know I'd never use it on my Wii U either.
