Sure it's a quiet week, but if NOA PR is anything to go by, it's also the fastest selling in the franchise. Sounds like a bona fide hit to me.
It's not hard to see why, as switch appears to have snagged some lapsed Nintendo gamers who have fond memories of MK (as 'noob' comments above show).
For my part, I never picked it up for my wii u but got this on Saturday and am really enjoying it so far. The baby mario track in particular is an absolute blast online.
3DS is, hands down, my favourite system ever, and I've been playing since the NES. Such a strong library at this point and if they keep churning out b-tier games, remakes and localisation I'll keep buying them
I don't really give a hoot about non-indie western third party support. I would like to see more Japanese 3rd party games though. More in the vein of Disgaea, SMT etc. would be very welcome
Neat! Just beat this game yesterday. There is seemingly a lot you can do to boost character stats and skills post-game so should be an interesting mode to play
I've ordered this. Yes the reviews are poor but it sounds like my kind of game. Worth noting the developers have said they will be supporting post-launch with updates/tweaks to difficulty
Enjoyed it so far. Only slight dud of the 7 games I've picked up so far has been Bomberman, but going to reassess that one post-patch.
To be honest, I already have a backlog - need to finish up Shovel Knight and I am Setsuna so I can get to Blaster Master Zero, and after that staring at some really intriguing eshop releases out already or soon that I want to play before Mario Kart.
So for me, there really isn't a thin library at this point. This might just reflect my tastes for old school platformers and RPGs. I also really don't need a constant stream of big retail releases to keep me happy.

The bomberman cover and interior are so sweet. Physical 4 ever
Re: Rumour: Super Mario/Rabbids Crossover Still in Works for Nintendo Switch
Sounds odd but I never write off a weird Nintendo idea until I've seen it in action

Re: RPG Maker Fes is Coming to the West on 27th June
I'm up for this. Wondering if there will be more modern-day map and character sets though. Would make me much more likely to make games
Re: THQ Nordic is Bringing Sine Mora EX and Battle Chasers: Nightwar to Switch eShop
Loved the battle chasers comics when they first came out - really great character designs. Intrigued by the game too

Loving the release schedule at the moment. Steady feed of quality indies leading up to MK.
Last week - Snake-Pass
This week - Graceful Explosion Machines
Next week - Mr. Shifty
Week after - Wonder Boy
Then MK hits

Re: A New Patch Is Available for Breath of the Wild on Switch
Good work Ninteno! Going to check out those framerates later. Bodes well for the future if BOTW issues weren't hardware related
Re: Switch Timed Exclusive Graceful Explosion Machine Gets Solid Release Date
Very intrigued by this one. Was holding out for pocket rumble, but given that's been delayed may dive in with this.
