@BensonUii I know what you mean, none of us really do know what's actually going on within that company, so we're all really just making blind assumptions, but I still think that some communication would benefit them immensely.
"If you haven't heard us Tweeting much it's because we've been heads down working on the game."
You can't honestly tell me that you don't have ONE person who could go to twitter for like 10 seconds just to tweet a quick update?
I'm sorry but I find that stupidly hard to believe considering the fact that they even took the time to write as much as is shown in this article...
If you're working on the game the great, but having 0% communication with your audience through social media is doing them WAY more harm in the long run.
In the words of h3h3productions: "Can't we just enjoy a good thing without it being made into a bad thing...? No...?" (That might not be the actual quote but you get what I mean)
I still stand by my belief that the one of the key reasons everyone was so annoyed by the reveal of this game is just how little was shown to us during the E3 presentation. We were give a short 1 minute video that showed us nothing but the fact that the game was being made. It felt disrespectful on every level that such a small amount of information was given to us after 5 years of waiting.
All I want is to know more about the game, that's all.
@MightyKrypto Or the DK and Bowser figures will sell out in an instant and Activision will learn the sad fact that anything Amiibo related will sell out before it even hits the shelves lol
@123akis I have 200Mbps download and 20Mbps upload, I don't think that's my problem.
It happens almost all the time with my friends as well and it never happened before that. Honestly "a more pleasant gaming experience" is the single more vague update note I've ever seen.
Everyone has a different definition of a pleasant gaming experience and whatever nintendo's definition of it is I'm sure as hell not seeing it.
I still get shot and killed by people who aren't even aiming at me, that's not pleasant...
The rollers jump and splat attack still outranges a "ranged" weapon AND it oneshots, that's not pleasant...
The latency with playing with people on the complete other side of world is so damn high that anytime I kill them it takes the game 5 seconds to realize that I also got shot and I find myself randomly exploding, that's not pleasant...
Weapons that should take 4-5 shots to kill someone very often kill people faster than they should. That's. Not. Pleasant...
Adjustments have been made for a more pleasant gaming experience... a more pleasant gaming experience.. pleasant gaming experience...
Where have I seen this before? OH yeah, the Splatoon update that provided a more pleasant gaming experience by making me DISCONNECTION FROM EVERY SECOND MATCH I PLAY
"giving viewers a very brief, unclear look at the game."
This, in my opinion, is what's keeping this flame of hate going. If Nintendo had just had someone come up and say "We know that this was not what you might have been expecting. Know that we do have plans for a main series Metroid game, but it will take some more time to develop. In the mean time, we'd like to keep the very patient Metroid fans entertained with this."
Honestly, the sheer lack of information given to us about this game during E3 was just disgusting and disrespectful to the fans that have been waiting this long for a new installment...
Being able to communicate with your team member does very little (if anything) to help you win a game.
Last weekend, me and 3 of my friends (all in a Skype call) managed to get on the same team against 4 other random people. There were a few times were we demolished the other team, but also many times where we go utterly destroyed by the exact same team.
The pace of this game is so fast that we never had time to come up with a strategy (other than pushing their base at the last 20 or so seconds lol)
While voice chat in this game would be nice, it's just not necessary. It wouldn't add to the game imo

Re: Splatoon Version 2.1.0 Update to Fix Some Bugs, and Cut Off Some Handy Shortcuts
Other adjustments to the game have been made so players may have a more pleasant experience...
so players may have a more pleasant experience...
a more pleasant experience...
So does this mean that I wont be killed by someone 5 seconds after I kill them? Because that happens, a lot...

@Wolfgabe Did they say anything about them being sold individually?
