@jakysnakydx We're probably getting Valvagia, Wizzro and Cia and that's it. Also while it's true that Dynasty Warriors has around 70-odd characters, most of them are clones. Instead of doing that, Hyrule Warriors is working to make every character have a unique playstyle.
Also, the game is only drawing content from Ocarina, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. So no Skull Kid or Fierce Diety Link
If I could put one more Zelda Original though, it'd be Malon + Epona.
God this was brilliant live. ZeRo did a brilliant job winning this competition after falling into the Loser's Bracket early on. But I'd expect nothing less of him, he is one of the god's of Project M.
@Technosphile Project M will continue whether or not Smash U is competitive or not (it's looking to be more like Brawl at the moment). But the Smash community is quite versatile. Melee and Project M will see the most play, while Sm4sh will usurp Brawl as the third most played game, leaving Brawl in the dust with 64, still appearing in tourneys, but with small numbers of competitors.
Seriously though, I see this being one of the Shulk, Chorus Men, Chrom, Ridley OR Sceptile/Mewtwo. These are the only guys that have enough evidence for them that I won't be surprised to see them. Holding out from expecting anyone else, out of inevitable disappointment.
Melee's still looking to be the competitive standard, but as long as this game's current problems are ironed out, it'll be a very good game in it's own right.
I upgraded to PC, but I find the Wii U is the perfect companion console to own. Most of the games on PS4+One right now are very similar to current games on the PC Market (or are on PC), whereas the Wii U still offers fresh experiences that are seldom found on PC.
May pick up a PS4 or Xbone far into the future if there's any particularly interesting exclusives.
Not expecting Chrom any more, don't need 3 Blue haired swordsmen, Lucina was always unlikely due to the fact that she was similar to Marth. I have a strong feeling we're going to be seeing Robin or a similar FE:A character this time.

I don't think we have to worry about them taking any characters out...unless the NFC figures also work on the 3DS' Smash Bros...but until then not gonna worry.
Not many interesting games being released this year, but damn the two that have been announced have me super excited:
Civilization: Beyond Earth and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Plus the consistent information releases from SSB4 and the two for one offer for Mario Kart 8. I might actually have some games show up in my library.
@Bolt_Strike I believe it's because it's more or less the Pokemon everyone attached to in X and Y and said, "This Pokemon is awesome guys." Plus it's the most recognizable "Ninja" Nintendo has bar perhaps Sheik.
On another note. As of yesterday's lineup that makes 28/35 characters (or 26 if Zero Suit and Sheik don't count). It seems like two of the three main Nintendo series have their representation quite heavily now, Mario: Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Rosalina & Luma, Yoshi PKMN: Lucario, Pikachu, Greninja, Charizard.
It negates my fear that one of the two was going to be half-arsed. They'll release the 3DS Version then work on polishing and making the Wii U version a true next gen game within that dev time. At least that's what I'm getting from this buisiness decision.
Honestly though, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Zelda 2015 Mario Kart 8 Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U Codename X
These are the only games I'm looking to purchase for my Wii U over the next year. I can't see the Wii U living much longer after the release of X and Zelda 2014.
Am I the only one that likes the Chespin Evolution. He's cute and Derpy.
Not a big fan of the Fennekin Evo and my favorite is Froakie's Evo. I'm kind of scared that the Standing Fennekin may mean we get another Fighting/Fire...I will hurt someone if that happens.
OOH! Psybeam and Pyschic, that means Fire/Physic. That's a first -_-
With luck we get a free version of it with our first purchase. I'm wondering what happens if we don't pay, I'd assume we just lose access to our Pokemon until we renew. Hopefully it's not too expensive as this could be a useful service for future games
It really is quite simple, Gamestop take 100% profit from Used Games rather than whatever profit is split with Dev's and Publishers etc. They'll push high demand titles are much as possible. I actually worked at GAME in the UK for a while, they do actually teach you there to Guerilla Market, sell the old over the new.
That said, I don't really have a problem with it, as unfavorable as it is, Gamestop is starting to fall. Within a decade, I reckon it'll be mostly digital. But with this, people will vote with their money, this game'll be changed or dropped if they don't see a positive income.
Indies are having a great time on the Platform, which is great, as they probably get alot of money from impulse purchases. I brought a Tank! Tank! Tank! DLC as part of the deal and felt it was worth it for a quirky "I'll play this for twenty minutes every few months" play session for £1.50 odd.
But I really need that good network account...chop chop Ninty
What PKMN needs is an easier way to make a competitive team. Imagine a Battle Frontier Building that let you build a 'Digital Team' of perfect Pokemon, with your set moves and stats and stuff. Would be super useful to Gamefreak me thinks
@hamae Ahem! Watch Dogs...wait...that's coming to Wii U...sweet, guess that'll tide me over until 2015. All the other games I want are coming to PS3 anyway.
I hope these titles can keep Nintendo afloat for a while. Wii Party U may be a system seller...
Bayonetta 2, Monolith Soft's X and, if what Nintendo says holds us, Legend of Zelda U look set to be the true next-gen titles that show that the Wii U does have some good power behind it, nowhere near what the PS4 and Xbox can muster, but still worthy of being a Next Gen Console.
Looking forward to this sooo...sooo...much. Bayonetta 1 was brilliant and this is just looking to be more of the same, but pumped up to the next degree.
EDIT: Just want to add, when have Platinum ever made a bad game. The Wonderful 101 and this are two of my most anticipated games, especially since I won't be getting a next-gen console/Gaming PC for a long while.
I think Nintendo drastically needs a price drop, I can full-well see the Wii U selling as the cheap, casual console rather than the price competitor to the One and PS4.
@Lasermaster123 As much as I'd like that to be true, Nintendo's exclusives, on there own, are losing more and more credibility in the gaming community with every announcement to a point where they can't survive with them and when the Wii U is so hard to develop for, it's just a slow moving train wreck for Nintendo.
Here's hoping they can pull something magical off, but don't count on it.
@Spartacus3765 Truth be told, I'd be highly surprised if this wasn't Nintendo's last home console or at the very least, last gimmicky console. While I think the Handheld market can sustain itself with Nintendo at the helm, I really wouldn't be surprised if Sony turned around to Nintendo and offered them Second Party Exclusivity at some point on the next Playstation.
Me thinks that Nintendo really would be in a better position if they could be a Production Powerhouse alongside EA, Activision etc. while not focusing on Home Console creation as well.
Also, to address system sellers, Nintendo does have one card in it's favor this generation, the fact that they seem to be focusing more on couch multiplayer which the other two seem to have scrapped. Massive problem being, Nintendo NEED TO compete this generation, they've posted for too big a loss :S

Re: Video: This Is Possibly The Most Almighty Falcon Punch You'll Ever See
@Captain_Toad Sm4sh Wii U will be at EVO 2015, that's incredibly likely. Then it will probably drop back to Melee in the following years.

Re: First Impressions: Going Portable With Super Smash Bros. for 3DS
@Xiao_Pai It seems 3DS is the more gimmick based game while the Wii U version is going to have more neutral stages.
