I say I hate rogues but I loved and still play Dead Cells and this is even better.
This game is a masterpiece. Not even 5 minutes in and I knew it was special. Everything about it just clicks so smoothly.
The voice acting, the music, the art, the flow, the upgrades, the story and dark humor and most importantly the flawless gameplay.
So many systems at play and they are all rolled out in a way that’s easy to understand and never overwhelming as part of the story which is brilliant. The combat may appear to be repetitive but it isn’t and nothing else is because of the way the story and upgrades are handed out.
Anybody on the fence and saying they don’t like rogueslite:likes do not worry.
I loved it on my iPhone but hated the touch screen controls and couldn't wait to have it on my Switch. Downloaded it yesterday and I must say its worth every penny because it's just so much fun. Tight controls with beautiful animation and great level design.
The review mentions these other games which I love dearly but forgets that they are all over 3 years old.
If anybody loves 2D platformers this is a must-own.
It would have been great if I didn't have to close the game I'm in to use it... how can I look up walkthoughs whole playing if I have to shut down the game?

@Yodalovesu I want to know the same... They look identical.

Are screenshots now in 1080? If you don't use the take photo button.

I wish Dominos was draw 7 at the start with 4 players.
Re: Talking Point: Does Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Rollout Of Event Updates Make It Feel 'Incomplete'?
They have known the whole time about these "updates" they are just rolling them out slowly to maintain interest.
I don't mind because it refreshes the game every month with new things that even if you time travel you have to come back to experience.
It farther reinforces the idea of taking it a day at a time and enjoying life and the game as it comes...
Re: Have You Downloaded Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons Starter Guide Yet?
FYI: This download is just the first 25 pages of a 500-page book.
Re: Have You Downloaded Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons Starter Guide Yet?
I ordered this on amazon 3 months ago and I am still waiting to get the printed version...
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Brings Museum Art Gallery, Weddings Season And Much More
I love this and this slow roll of content that's already in there just makes the time travelers have to come back to get stuff.
I've played every day since launch and haven't time-traveled and this seems like a perfect time to "unlock" new functions.
It's Nintendo's clever way of saying: "go ahead and advance your game you still can't unlock everything"
Here's to hoping they will slowly roll out a bunch of stuff every few weeks/month

@Finntendo Will you ship me a copy?
Re: Mario, Splatoon And Zelda Tunes Come To Ring Fit Adventure Via A New Rhythm Game Mode
I would love to get this update but it is impossible to buy this game at retail and I am not paying near $300 on eBay.

Re: Save The Date, Rhythm RPG Nocturne Aims For A 2023 Release On Switch
"It's set in a dystopian future where humanity lives in a digital afterlife"
You mean... "It's set in a dystopian present..."
Who announces an indie game 3 years out?

I am definitely waiting for that

@dystome Same for me... first run back at this game after update I blazed through the whole thing...
Re: Gods Remastered Is Bringing The Bitmap Brothers' Classic '90s Platformer To Switch
When will this fascination with "retro" games end?
The graphics and gameplay look so stilted here. I love me a good pixel art game but this is getting out of hand.

The ability to redownload my games and not have to pay for them over again.
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Service Had A "Good" Launch, Focus Will Now Shift To Boosting Its Appeal
I did the seven day trail and never bothered to renew... because honestly I didn't need it and it offered nothing for me...
Now add classic games like a virtual console, free and discounted indie games and Id sign up in a heartbeat...

Re: Roarr! Launches On Switch Today, Promises To "Make Jurassic Park Look Like Some Fairytale"
this looks horrible... I can live with no textures as a stylistic choice but then why are the levels so empty and devoid of things to destroy?
